The sound of Apple's car can be traced back to the time of Jobs's lifetime, when Tesla had not yet come out. To this day, Apple Car remains a high-priority project within Apple, even though Apple has never responded positively to it.
According to a recent report, Apple employees traveled exclusively to South Korea to discuss battery manufacturing deals with a range of local suppliers. Apple obviously wants a Korean supplier in particular, and in Apple's view, it hopes to find a company that can fully develop its own batteries and complete the manufacturing.
The news also pointed out that Apple hopes to buy a stake in the supplier to increase its production capacity. This can effectively increase the production capacity of Apple Car, while at the same time more stringent control of the manufacturing process.
However, it is unclear whether the South Korean supplier decided to accept Apple's offer. From the previous news reports, apple Car plans to be released in 2025, from the product planning point of view, at least at the end of this year, Apple will start to develop battery cells that should be used in cars. In other words, Apple needs to find a battery supplier as soon as possible, and we also expect this final result to be spent by whom.
