At about 14:00 on January 12, unit 3 of guanzhou hydropower station in Danba County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, burst during maintenance of the plant diversion pipe plug valve, causing 11 maintenance personnel to be trapped, and 3 people (including 1 death) have been searched and rescued, and the rescue work is still in progress.
The Ministry of Emergency Management sent a working group to the scene to guide the disposal and cause investigation. After the accident, the Ganzi Prefecture Fire Rescue Detachment immediately dispatched 46 people, 6 fire trucks, and 1 storm boat to the scene for disposal. The Sichuan Provincial Fire Rescue Corps dispatched a total of 25 people, 7 fire trucks and professional equipment such as dragon suction water to Chengdu, Ya'an and other surrounding fire rescue teams to reinforce.
