Mi Zhu was a wealthy businessman before, and he was also very interested in Liu Bei, not only giving his own family wealth to support Liu Bei, but also letting his sister marry Liu Bei after Liu Bei's wife was captured by Cao Cao. Such a performance also made Liu Bei very moved, making Mi Zhu's status in Shu Han very lofty.
However, even though Xu Jing and Mi Zhu had a superior status in the Shu Han Dynasty, these two were only of high status and had no real power in the Shu Han Dynasty. Liu Bei also knew how much strength they really had, so he still handed over the power to Zhuge Liang. Therefore, although Xu Jing and Mi Zhu were higher than Zhuge Liang in the ranks of the wenchen, Zhuge Liang still held the power of Shu Han, and Zhuge Liang also used his strength to prove that Liu Bei's choice was not wrong.
