Home: Calling a living relative who is higher or older than oneself, with the meaning of humility and commonality. For example, calling one's father the father and the family strict, calling the mother the mother and the family ci, calling the father-in-law the family father-in-law, the grandfather the family ancestor, as well as the brother, the family sister-in-law, and so on.

She: It is used to modestly refer to relatives who are inferior to oneself, such as brothers, sisters, nephews, and relatives, but not to mention children and daughters.

First: Containing feelings of remembrance and sorrow, it is an honorific title for the deceased elderly, such as calling the departed father the first father, the ancestor, the first strict, the first examination, the mother honoring the mother as the first mother, the first concubine, the first ci, the grandfather as the ancestor, and so on.

Dead: Used to address the dead and humble, such as dead sisters and dead children. For deceased husbands, wives, and close friends, they can also be called deceased husbands, deceased wives, and deceased friends.

Dogs: In the old days, they humbly called their young children who were not deeply involved in the world, such as dogs, inuyashas, etc.

Small: A humble word often used to refer to one's own side, such as calling one's own children a child, a little girl, etc.

"Six relatives do not recognize", which six relatives will you know?

In ancient times, there have always been many opinions on the six relatives, and there are roughly the following types:

One refers to fathers and sons, brothers, sisters, nephews, marriages, and marriages.

The second refers to father and son, brother, husband and wife.

Three refers to parents, brothers, and wives.

Four refers to parents, brothers, brothers from the father, brothers from the grandparents, brothers from the great-grandparents, and brothers of the same race.

Five refers to maternal grandparents, parents, sisters, sons of wives and brothers, and sons of children who have died from their parents. Li Wei, referring to father, mother, brother, brother, wife, son, is a more common modern term, and the six categories in modern Chinese also refer to relatives.

Ancient brother ranking title

In ancient times, Bo, Zhong, Shu, and Ji were used to indicate the order of ranking among brothers. Niangzi: The ancients' common name for their wives.

Insider: Used to call one's wife to others. The written language is also called insider, internal help. Honorific other people's wives called Kenuchisuke.

Mrs.: In the old society, officials' wives were generally called, or powerful and wealthy people called their wives "wives", which now means "your wife is coming".

Wife: Refers to the wife's children. In the early days, there were "wives", "wives", and some people called wives alone, and some people often called virtuous wives and loving wives in their letters in order to show affection.
