Geely/Tencent and other four parties have cooperated to build an intelligent and connected vehicle safety system

Recently, Geely Automobile Research Institute, China Automobile Data, Tencent Cloud and Anheng Information jointly signed the strategic cooperation framework of the Internet of Vehicle Network Security Laboratory, and the four parties will carry out all-round cooperation in the field of network security of the Internet of Vehicles to jointly build an intelligent and connected vehicle safety operation system.

According to the plan, China's intelligent car sales will reach 20% of the total sales of cars that year by 2025, of which the sales of conditional autonomous driving intelligent networked vehicles account for 30%; by 2030, these two figures will reach 40% and 70% respectively. With the continuous advancement of the intelligent process of the Internet of Vehicles, the Internet of Vehicles network faces many security issues, such as ensuring the integrity of digital infrastructure, establishing risk mitigation and response strategies, and resisting malicious attacks and access.

The four-party strategic cooperation will further build intelligent networked vehicle security products, integrate network security construction into the vehicle research and development and manufacturing process, improve the network security level of intelligent networked vehicle cloud pipe-end integration, provide network security capabilities that can cover all scenarios of intelligent networked vehicles, and actively establish differentiated network security technology advantages.

It is understood that the signing also marks a further cooperation between Tencent and Geely Automobile Group. Tencent signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Geely Automobile Group in January last year to carry out all-round strategic cooperation in the fields of intelligent cockpit, autonomous driving, digital marketing, digital base, digital new business and low-carbon development. Subsequently, in August, Tencent and Guangyu Mingdao, the headquarters of Geely Industrial Internet Platform, signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Chongqing, and the two sides will work together to carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of industrial Internet industry ecology and industrial intelligent collaborative innovation.
