The original Nissan Silvia

A brief introduction to the Nissan Silvia, a front-facing rear-drive coupe, was unveiled at the 1964 Tokyo Motor Show and then launched in 1965, sharing chassis production with the then Datsun Fairlady 1600 SP311, which is the predecessor of today's Nissan Z series sports car. Silvia went through 8 generations until it was discontinued in Japan in 2002.
