Born in 1884, Yu Enyang grew up in the turbulent and chaotic world of China, and at a very young age, he had the heart to serve the country and save the country, and at the age of 19, he went to study at the Japanese Army Non-Commissioned Officer School.
At that time, many Chinese patriots studied in Japan, hoping to save the Chinese nation by learning advanced military technology and new wave ideas.
In 1905, under the leadership of Sun Yat-sen, these patriots organized the establishment of the Chinese League Association, and Yu Enyang became one of them.
In 1909, Yu Enyang graduated and returned to his homeland to serve in the Dian Army. Yu Enyang served as the instructor of the Yunnan Army Artillery Corps, passed on the military techniques he learned to his compatriots and comrades without reservation, and later began to organize the Tangwu Hall, contributing to the cultivation and improvement of the strength of the Chinese army.
After the outbreak of the Wuchang Uprising in 1911, other regions responded and planned their own uprisings to jointly overthrow the Qing government.
The time of the Wuchang uprising was the nineteenth day of the eighth lunar month, and a few days later, Yu Enyang immediately convened a secret meeting to discuss the uprising with Tang Jiyao, Liu Cunhou and others.
After much discussion and repeated formulation of plans, the group finally launched the Yunnan Uprising, and it took less than a day to capture the Yunnan Governor's Office.
Because the day of the action was the ninth day of the first month of September, this uprising is also known as the Yunnan Chongjiu Uprising.
After that, Yu Enyang participated in many battles such as the Southern Expedition, the Northern Expedition to Aid Qian, and the Pacification of Guizhou, and was awarded the rank of major general in the army in 1912.
In 1913, Yu Enyang returned to Yunnan and participated in the pacification of the Dali Rebellion, in which he was instrumental in this battle and was awarded the title of lieutenant general.

From studying in Japan, to the Chongjiu Uprising, to the Second Revolution, Yu Enyang has a shadow of one person around him, that is, Tang Jiyao.
The two were old classmates when they studied abroad, and later they were like-minded and planned and participated in many actions together.
The two have also collaborated on many occasions in their careers. In 1917, after the establishment of the Jingguo Army, Tang Jiyao served as the commander-in-chief, and personally designated his "old comrade-in-arms" Yu Enyang to serve as the commander-in-chief counselor.
The original relationship between Yu and Tang should have been good comrades and brothers who were like-minded and fought side by side, but the world was unpredictable, and neither of them expected that in the end, because of a woman, they would end up with swords facing each other.
Yu Enyang's wife Qian Xiufen was beautiful and had an excellent temperament, and could afford to be called "a beautiful person in a chaotic world and a magnificent style", Tang Jiyao could not help but fall after seeing Qian Xiufen several times, and gradually killed his "good brother" Yu Enyang for the horizontal knife to win love.

For example, in Yu Enyang's generation, there were three brothers who grew up in peace, and the eldest brother Yu Enrong took over the family business, was a famous businessman, and also served as a senator in Yunnan Province and a leader of the Red Cross Society.
