I. Studying in Japan
From the last years of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China period, the land of China fell into great turmoil, during which a number of benevolent people emerged, and Lieutenant General Yu Enyang of the Army was one of them.
Yu Enyang, born in Yunnan in 1884, was sent to study in Japan because of his excellent grades.
In that era, there were very few people who could study abroad, and after returning to China, they were all pillars of strength, plus Yu Enyang studied the military science that was very practical at that time, and his life was on the right track, and his normal development must be promising.
However, Yu Enyang's fate was completely rewritten into tragedy by his classmate and friend Tang Jiyao.
Tang Jiyao, the founder of the Dian Army, was also selected to study in Japan when he was young, and his study experience was the same as that of Yu Enyang.
This person was quite talented in the military, and during his study abroad, he became a good friend with Yu Enyang, but it was also because of the close intertwining of fates that he also had a later grudge and hatred.
II. "Comradely Feelings" of Defending the Country and Protecting the Law
In 1911, the Wuchang Uprising broke out, the Qing Dynasty government was coming to an end, and the dreary land of China ushered in new hopes.

After returning to China, Yu Enyang and Tang Jiyao, full of enthusiasm to serve the country, quickly threw themselves into the revolution as members of the Chinese League.
In the course of the battle, the revolutionary friendship between the two grew stronger, and in the following 7 years, they fought side by side countless times.
With the blessing of one successful revolutionary experience after another, the lives of Yu Enyang and Tang Jiyao also changed, Tang Jiyao was appointed as the governor and governor of Yunnan Province for successfully organizing the Patriotic Movement, and Yu Enyang was awarded the rank of lieutenant general for serving as the chief of staff of the Third Army during the period of protection.
At this time, the two were no longer what they used to be, especially Tang Jiyao, who held the power of the Dian Army, and his prestige had reached its peak.
In terms of career, Tang Jiyao was indeed more successful than Yu Enyang, and thus became Yu Enyang's superior.

Third, love or vendetta
Although it is a superior-subordinate relationship, Yu Enyang is after all a supporter of Tang Jiyao and a friend of the same window who studied overseas together, so his private feelings are naturally different from those of other military generals.

Once, Yu Enyang took his white-skinned and beautiful wife Qian Xiufen to attend a banquet for Tang Jiyao, who was a well-known beauty in Yunnan, and Tang Jiyao became interested when he saw it.

Then, why did Tang Jiyao send someone to assassinate Yu Enyang secretly? Was it really just to get his wife?
Tang Jiyao is a controversial figure in modern history, he is the "King of Yunnan" who ruled Yunnan for 14 years, and the comments of posterity on him are "there is no good governance in governing Yunnan, and the greatest criticism of him is lustfulness, and the military discipline of the Dian army is the worst.
He officially married eight concubines, and the number of female pets was so numerous that even he himself did not know the number. Would such a person really take risks purely for lustful purposes?
In fact, this is mainly because Tang Jiyao feels that his position of power is threatened.
Once the demons in people's hearts arise, they will delusionally turn all their dissatisfaction into evidence of guilt, and the cracks in the gap will become larger and larger, until they cannot be crossed, and can only go against the grain.
Tang Jiyao felt that Yu Enyang had a different heart, and gradually he became murderous, and Yu Enyang's wife was the fuse.
Fourth, posterity has become a famous star
The assassination of Yu Enyang was thus closed. In order to block Yu You's mouth, Tang Jiyao appointed Yu Enyang's fourth brother Yu Enxi to hold a public office.
Of course, Yu Enxi knew the reason for his ascension to the throne, and within a few days of taking office, he took the initiative to resign as the director of the Yunnan Provincial Water Conservancy Bureau and abandoned the official to engage in business in order to protect himself.
Later, Yu Enxi founded the first tobacco company in Yunnan Province, and in order to commemorate the untimely death of his third brother Yu Enyang, he also named a cigarette "Da Chong Jiu".
Yu Enxi's business was once defeated by foreign tobacco, which was more industrialized and less expensive to produce, and was heavily indebted.
In the midst of the dilemma, long yun, the old head of his brother Yu Enyang, who was then the chairman of the Yunnan provincial government, helped him and recommended Yu Enxi to be the mayor of Kunming.
Because Yu En Xizhi was not here, he resigned in only 13 months, engaged in the garden business he loved all his life, rebuilt the Yuantong Temple in the Tang Dynasty, and made contributions to the development of China's gardens, and the former residence of the Yu family has become a tourist attraction in Yunnan now " Yu Garden".
Yu Enxi's son Yu Jialin, after the death of his father, moved his family to Taiwan to live, married Zhang Zhengfen, a famous Peking opera singer, and had 2 daughters and 1 son.
This son later became a well-known singer and artist, and after becoming famous with the song "Let Me Love Once Enough", he achieved good results in the singing and hosting circles, and served as the tutor of "The Voice of China" several times.
He is Yu Chengqing, continuing to write about the glory of the family, and it can also be regarded as a tribute to the uncle Yu Enyang who died young.
Tang Jiyao and Yu Enyang, the former companions, did not want their country to suffer when they were young and studied overseas, they were ambitious to serve the country, the blood of the uprising was still warm, but the original intention of defending the country did not resist the desire for rights that grew.
Revolutionary friendship was also worn away by the years, and in the end it was unrecognizable.
