At 9:58 a.m. on January 11, the K9784 passenger train departing from Aral Station arrived at Urumqi Station after more than 13 hours of operation. This is the first passenger train after the opening of the Aksu-Aral railway in Xinjiang, ending the history of no train access in Aral City and Awati County.

It is reported that the Aksu-Aral railway is located in the Aksu region of Xinjiang and the first division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, with a total length of 114.6 kilometers, a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and four railway stations along the way: Satma, Awati, Tamen and Aral. In addition to carrying people, it can also shorten the short barge transportation distance of more than 100 kilometers, improve the efficiency of cargo transportation, and reduce transportation costs. This year, Xinjiang Qingsong Building Materials Chemical Group is expected to ship 300,000 tons of chemical products by rail.
It is worth mentioning that the Guiyang Hub Southwest Ring Railway was also officially opened recently, as an important part of the Guiyang Municipal Railway "one ring, one shot and two links", connecting Guiyang Rail Transit Line 2, Line 3, S1 Line, S2 line and bus, high-speed railway, creating a precedent for China's urban "ring" urban rapid railway.
