Recently, we learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the BYD Han DM-i model declaration map was exposed and will be unveiled at the 2022 Beijing Auto Show.

BYD Han DM-i adopts a family-style design language, the front of the car is equipped with a large air intake grille, and the interior integrates chrome dot matrix mid-mesh to enhance the sophistication of the new car. In addition, the headlights of the new car are more sharp, with the ventilation openings on both sides of the front encirclement, and the interior adopts a highly recognizable light source layout to further enhance the sports atmosphere of the new car.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4960/1910/1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm. Although the rear part of the car also uses through-type tail lights, it is slightly different from the current Han DM, and the DM-i logo is added to the tail marker.

In terms of power, Han DM-i will be equipped with Xiaoyun's new 1.5T engine and EHS electromix system, with a maximum power of 102kW, simulating the Miller cycle through CVVT, and using VGT variable-section turbocharging technology, which has a compression ratio of 12.5:1 and a thermal efficiency of 40%.

According to previous exposure, Han DM-i will provide two battery capacity models, respectively, equipped with 18.3kW and 37.6kW battery packs, the former with a pure electric endurance of 121km and a lost fuel consumption of 4.2L per 100 km; the latter providing two kinds of battery life of 242km and 202km, with a loss of fuel consumption of 4.3L and 5.3L of 100km, respectively.
