Zhu Jianping may have already calculated that Cao Pi's life expectancy was only 40 years old, but he couldn't say it explicitly. At that time, Cao Pi was the son of Cao Cao, the King of Wei, and the official worshiped the general Zhonglang. If Zhu Jianpingming said that you can only live forty years old, what would Cao Pi think, and if he was not happy in his heart, he would beat him up and drive him out, and the heavy would end this fortune teller's life. In fact, Zhu Jianping's fortune-telling and the like belong to superstitions and have no scientific basis. He was able to calculate accurately for the following two reasons.
First, Zhu Jianping is good at observing words and colors.
Ancient xiangshi, who read countless people, were able to judge what might happen based on small changes. These people live at the bottom of society all year round, and they may also have a little medical skills, and medical skills are to pay attention to hope and hear. When he saw Shizi Cao Pi and others, by observing the faces of Cao Pi and these people, he could judge whether he was healthy and how many years he could live.
Zhu Jianping saw a horse brought by Cao Pi and concluded that this horse would undoubtedly die today. He probably knew the habits of horses, and knew that horses hated the aroma of Cao Pi's clothes. Sure enough, Cao Pi was about to ride a horse, but the horse bit Cao Pi's knee in horror. Cao Pi was furious and killed the horse. Cao Pi was the Emperor of Cao Wei, how could he endure a horse's disrespect for himself, which doomed the horse's fate.

Second, Zhu Jianping is good at saying ambiguous things.
Zhu Jianping told the fortunes of the people, and the words he said were ambiguous. For example, he said that Cao Pi could live to be 80 years old, but at the age of 40, there might be a small disaster. If the time passes, it will be safe and sound. There are several explanations for this. The first explanation, Cao Pi really lived to be 80 years old, that is, Zhu Jianping was right, and it was proved that fortune telling was accurate; the second explanation, if Cao Pi lived for 60 years, that is, Cao Pi was too diligent in the last 20 years, working day and night, so the last 20 years were counted as one day each day and night, so it was calculated to be 60 years old; the third explanation, if Cao Pi died of illness at the age of 40, it means that Cao Pi did not survive this disaster at the age of 40, and it can also be explained that Zhu Jianping counted the day and night as one day each, and the 80 years old was obtained. In short, Zhu Jianping is "Zhuge Liang after the fact", no matter how old Cao Pi lived, there is a way to explain it.
Therefore, these fortune tellers can calculate the life expectancy of people, which is not science, but only a blindfold for them to deceive the world.
