Wang Su Cinema Heihe people unforgettable film memories

author:Northeast Net

On the evening of September 13, in a sudden fire, only the ruins of the old site of the Heihe Wangsu Cinema were left, and the memories of the Heihe people for more than half a century ended.

The years have changed, and the vicissitudes of the sea have been changed. Although Wang Su Cinema has withdrawn from the historical stage of Heihe many years ago, it has deeply influenced generations, and for many Heihe people, it is not only a cinema, but also a neighbor who once lived day and night and the romantic memories of his youth.

Children in the cinema tell the story of childhood

When it comes to the Heihe Wangsu Cinema, there are almost no Heihe people over the age of 50 who have not been there. At that time, the life of the masses was very monotonous, especially in the 60s of the last century, watching movies and dramas was the only way for the people of Heihe to enjoy cultural entertainment.

Wu Bianbian, who works at the Heihe Municipal Bureau of Justice, said he was very impressed by the Wang Su Cinema, where he almost grew up as a child. The mother of one of his friends worked in the cinema for 11 years. At that time, her main job was to sell movie tickets, and since she sold them on the spot, she left work late every day, and the work was very hard.

"Because my partner's mother works in the cinema, my partner and I often go to the cinema, and the cinema takes care of the family, without spending money, which makes many people envious." I watch every movie repeatedly. It often happens: When I was watching it, my mother came to me in the cinema and told me to go home early to sleep because I had to go to school the next day. I could only pout and obediently go home with my mother. Wu Frontier said, "Not long ago, I saw a group of old photos of Wang Su's cinema on the Internet, and I was very excited, and it evoked my childhood memories." At that time, I was so familiar with the rooms and seats in the cinema, in front of and behind the stage, up and down, and later in the Cultural Revolution, I rarely could show movies. Later, the old cinema was demolished and a new cinema was built. Looking back on it today, everything is so familiar and so strange..."

Like Wu Frontier, many Heihe people have left the joys of childhood in the movie theater, recalling one scene after another of their childhood, which will never be forgotten.

The Cultural Revolution "Critique Film" Memories of Special Eras

Zhang Xu, who worked at the Heilongjiang Hydrological Monitoring Station and was also a "regular visitor" to the Wang Su Cinema when he was a child, recalled that when he was a child, the Wang Su Cinema was the happiest place for him and children of the same age, many stories were seen there, and watching movies was their favorite entertainment activity at that time.

"It wasn't like now, there were TV shows and DVD equipment, and there was no better activity than watching movies." Zhang Xu said. But what left Zhang Xu most impressed was the "critical film" in the cinema at the beginning of the Cultural Revolution. At that time, the rebels listed some "critical films", which were organized by various units to watch collectively, and then carried out great criticism.

According to Zhang Xu's recollection, the "critical films" at that time included "Early Spring february", "Headwinds and Thousand Miles", "The Secret History of the Qing Palace", "The Legend of Martial Arts", "Furious Tide" and other films. When I looked, no one dared to talk much, lest I cause trouble. Interestingly, Master Guo in their school canteen did not understand that it was a "criticism movie", and when he came out of "The Secret History of the Qing Palace", his eyes were full of tears, and some students teased him and asked: "Is Master Guo's movie good?" Master Guo replied, "Very good, that Zhenfei is too bitter!" I still want to see it. "It scares everyone that no one dares to mention it again."

Blind date in the movie theater The most romantic thing of the year

In the special era, Wang Su Cinema also left a romantic story for many young men and women who were on blind dates.

Li Yuqin, of Jinlan Community in Aihui District, is 66 years old. She told reporters that more than 40 years ago, she and her wife and children were teachers at a primary school in Heihe, and they admired each other but did not dare to confess. One summer, she and her wife went to the cinema together to buy two movie tickets for "Life and Death Hate", and the two took advantage of the atmosphere of the movie theater to be bold and talk to each other, and after watching the movie out of the movie theater, the two determined the relationship. "Wang Su Cinema is a matchmaker for both of us." Li Yuqin said.

At that time, it was the most romantic thing for young men and women to go to the movies together, and if it were not for blind dates, it was difficult for young men and women to meet at will. Song Da Niang of the warm community of Aihui District recalled that she and her old partner were also on a blind date at the Wang Su Cinema, and that meeting had a small misunderstanding, which made her and her partner still unforgettable.

"My father was working in the prefectural committee at the time, and he usually tutored me and my sister very strictly, and did not let us talk to strange men, such as usually taking a car, if there was a man next to me, my sister and I would be far away. Therefore, I was in my twenties, and I had no object, and my mother looked anxious and found someone to introduce me to one. "One day, my mother suddenly said to me, Uncle Liu of your father's unit introduced you to an object, working in the passenger station convoy, and people are diligent and honest. Tonight you go to the cinema, sit in a certain row and number, and the square-faced young man on your left is the object of your introduction. Song Da Niang continued to recall with a smile, "The movie that night was called "Revolutionary Family", I went to the movie theater, found that there was no one on the left side, and waited for half a day, a young man with a square face came and sat down with a forward hat. Neither of us dared to look at each other, but simply introduced ourselves and sat down to watch a movie. When watching the movie, I secretly observed him, thick eyebrows, big eyes, slightly fat, but quite handsome, I was quite satisfied, I wanted to talk to him about work later, I didn't expect that just five minutes later, I heard someone snoring next to me, take a closer look, he covered his hat on his face, he actually fell asleep, I was angry, I thought he was too uninteresting, watching movies are asleep, how can I marry such a person? Before he could wake up, I went on my own. When I got home, my mother asked me how I was, and I told her about it, but my mother didn't speak. At noon the next day, my dad brought back a man, and if he looked closely, it turned out to be him! I ignored him, and he hurried to explain to me that he had just come back from a long trip last night, hadn't slept for two days, and fell asleep watching the movie yesterday, which was very embarrassing. He looked at me and ignored him, sat down for a while and left. I want to go or go, no fate, no achievement, I did not expect that the next day, he came to apologize to me, and also invited me to go to the movie, I did not agree. After repeating this a few times, I finally forgave him, and after a while together, I found that he was really good to me. The following year, at the urging of our parents, we got married, and this year we celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. ”

Artist and projectionist "Xiao Xiang" witnesses the evolution of cinemas

Recalling the Wang Su Cinema in that year, many Heihe people will think of the artist and projectionist Xiang Fude. Now the old man has been dead for many years. In the summer of 2006, the reporter interviewed the elderly Xiang Lao, and learned many stories that happened in the cinema.

Xiang Fude had worked at the Wang Su Cinema for decades and had a deep affection for it. In 1946, when he first came to work at the Wang Su Cinema, he was only in his twenties, and others called him "Xiao Xiang", which was an artist in the movie theater at that time, and every time a new film came, he had to accompany a propaganda poster. Over the decades, he painted thousands of propaganda paintings.

"At that time, movie theaters played movies every day, one in the afternoon, two in the evening, and sometimes students chartered." Xiang Fude said, "Changing a movie every three days on average, I am not only a cinema artist, but also a projectionist, every day is very busy, but very motivated." Busy, busy, a few decades have passed. ”

"At the end of the fifties, movie tickets were cheap, a few cents a piece. Later, it grew to a dime a piece, and by the 1970s, it was already three cents a piece. Xiang Fude's old partner Zhang Shulan recalled, "At that time, Lao Xiang's salary was the highest in the movie theater, more than 80 yuan. I had a short working experience, and my salary was only thirty dollars at that time. "Before Xiang Fude died, he often went to the old cadre bureau of Aihui District, looking for old friends to nag and play chess. Aihui District cares about the next generation of the committee of the elderly, Jia Lao are his old friends, mentioning Xiang Fude, Jia Lao said: "I have known Lao Xiang for many years, he was a national labor model, in the cinema for decades, recalling the time to go to the cinema to see him play movies, let people feel that time passed really fast." ”

The history of the transformation of Wang Su Cinema

The earliest cinema in the history of Heihe is called the Star Cinema, which was remodeled by the Tongle Tea Garden.

In 1939, the Star Cinema caught fire, and after repairs, it was renamed Hyland Cinema, and before 1937, it mainly screened films of various film companies in Shanghai. After 1937, the films of The Manchurian Film Company and japanese films were added.

In August 1945, Heihe was liberated and the Hyland Cinema ceased operations.

In December 1946, the Highland Theater was established by 16 people, and the Film Export Company of Northeast Harbin rented films for screening.

In June 1947, on the first anniversary of Wang Su's death, it was renamed Wang Su Theater.

In February 1948, Wang Su Theater was changed to a private office to help joint ventures.

In 1951, it was changed to a state-run unit and renamed Wang Su Cinema.

In 1971, the Wang Su Cinema was renovated, and the number of seats increased from 705 to 1162. At the end of the Cultural Revolution, the Wang Su Cinema stopped showing films and slowly faded out of the sight of Heihe audiences.
