Geely Automobile, which was the first to announce the results, sold 1328029 vehicles last year, an increase of about 1% year-on-year, and won the annual sales championship of Chinese brand passenger cars for five consecutive years. Among them, China Star re-reached a new high, driven by Xingyue L, Xingrui and other models, the annual sales volume exceeded 210,000; Lynk & Co Sold 220516 vehicles, an increase of 26% year-on-year, also set a record high.

Of course, Geely also has its own hidden worries. First, only 86.8% of the annual target (1.53 million units) was achieved, which was not satisfactory. Whether it can meet this year's sales target (1.65 million units, an increase of 24.2% year-on-year) is a question mark. What makes founder Li Shufu more anxious is the new energy vehicle that "can't afford to support".

From the data point of view, last year's sales of new energy + electrification models reached 100126, and geometric A, geometric C, Emgrand EV, Kung Fu Niu and other models sold 18,813 vehicles in December. It looks good, but in fact, Geely counts MHEV (48V light hybrid system) as a new energy model, which is obviously different from the concept of most industries and consumers. Accounting for only 7.54% of total sales, and in 2018, Li Shufu made a bold statement that after two years, new energy vehicles will account for 90% of total sales.

The delivery of the Extreme Kr 001, which began on October 23 last year, delivered 199 vehicles in the first week, setting a record for the delivery speed of electric vehicle brands. 3,796 units were delivered in December, up about 88.7% from November (2012). However, since its listing, problems such as "disguised price increases", "configuration shrinkage" and "unauthorized changes to the motor" have been broken out, casting a shadow on the subsequent development of the brand.

Kr proposes to launch six new models in the next three years, and by 2025, the brand's annual sales will reach 650,000 units, ranking among the top three in the world in terms of high-end electric vehicle market share. This goal is not ambitious, but it is not easy to achieve. BYD has set a sales target of 1.2 million new energy vehicles in 2022, a figure close to Geely's overall sales this year.

Great Wall Motor sold 1.2809 million new vehicles last year, an increase of 15.2% year-on-year, breaking through the million mark for six consecutive years. It was higher than the 1.21 million vehicles set at the beginning of the year, and although it failed to achieve the target of 1.49 million vehicles that were later raised, the report card was still eye-catching. It is worth mentioning that its overseas sales reached 142793 units, an increase of 103.7% year-on-year.

Haval brand sales of 770,000 units, up 2.6% year-on-year, of which the Haval H6 sold 370437 units. The newly launched red rabbit, first love, divine beast and other models have performed well, like the Haval divine beast delivered nearly 7,000 vehicles in the first month of listing.

Euler brand sales of 135028 vehicles, up 140% year-on-year, sales exceeded 20,000 units for the first time in December, an increase of 64.2% year-on-year, a record high. The brand positioned as "a car brand that loves women more", and launched a number of new products such as ballet cat, punk cat, lightning cat, etc., which are favored by female users.

In addition, Great Wall pickup trucks maintained a good growth momentum, up 3.6% year-on-year to 233006 units; for 24 consecutive years, it maintained the first domestic and export sales, and the cumulative global sales exceeded 2 million units. The newly launched brand tanks and salon cars are worth looking forward to in the follow-up performance.

Last year, the cumulative sales of Changan's Chinese brand passenger cars exceeded 1.2 million units, an increase of 23.1% year-on-year. If you count commercial vehicles, sales exceeded 1.75 million units, an increase of 16.7% year-on-year, ranking first among Chinese brands with absolute advantages; among them, the cumulative sales volume in overseas markets exceeded 110,000 units. Adding to the joint venture models such as Changan Mazda (over 130,000 units) and Changan Ford (over 300,000 units), the overall sales volume exceeded 2.3 million units, up 14.8% year-on-year, and successfully completed the annual target (2.2 million units).

At present, Changan Automobile has a product matrix of CS series, UNI series, Yidong series, Changan Auchan and so on. CS75 is a big dark horse that has sprung up in the past two years, with cumulative sales of more than 280,000 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 4.87% year-on-year, winning the first place in the 2021 China Automobile User Satisfaction Index, and becoming a strong rival of the "National God Car" Haval H6.

Carrying the upward burden of the Changan brand, the UNI series has accumulated sales of more than 120,000 vehicles. At present, there are two models, Changan UNI-T and Changan UNI-K, but the performance is somewhat weak compared with the previous year. It should be known that when there is only one car in Changan UNI-T in 2020, the sales volume will reach 68,556 vehicles in half a year, with an average monthly breakthrough of 10,000.

It is worth mentioning that the Avita 11 jointly built by Changan, Huawei and CATL is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of this year and the first batch of mass production delivery in the third quarter. This high-end intelligent electric medium-sized SUV accelerates within 4 seconds and has a cruising range of more than 700 kilometers, which can realize high-end intelligent driving under complex road conditions in the city, and is equipped with Huawei Hongmeng smart cockpit. Avita is an important chess piece for Changan to lay out the new energy high-end automobile market, and it remains to be seen how it performs.
