Foxconn's Indian iPhone foundry is reported to resume operations on January 12

Reuters reported on January 10 that Foxconn told Reuters on the same day that it would reopen its iPhone foundry that it had closed in southern India on January 12.

On December 18, 2021, the Foxconn plant in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu was forced to close after protests sparked by food poisoning among 250 workers. Since then, Apple has found that some of the factory's dormitories and restaurants do not meet the required standards and put it under observation.
