Absen: The LED display industry ushered in four major development trends

On January 7, 2022, Absen released the Investor Relations Activity Record Sheet, which introduced the company's operations and judgment on industry trends.

In terms of performance, Absen said that the company expects the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies in 2021 to be about 23 million yuan - 31 million yuan, an increase of 132.3% - 143.6% over the same period last year.

According to reports, in 2021, with the gradual recovery of overseas markets and the rapid growth of the domestic market, Absen achieved a total of about 3 billion yuan in signing orders, an increase of 55% over 2020 and a 12% increase over 2019. Among them, the overseas display screen achieved about 1.31 billion yuan, and the domestic display screen achieved about 1.51 billion yuan; as of December 31, 2021, the absen display screen had about 910 million yuan in hand orders.

In terms of industry trends, Absen pointed out that the LED display industry currently mainly presents the following trends:

(1) The continuous emergence of IMD integrated packaging technology, MiniLED, Micro LED and other new technologies has brought about the continuous upgrading of LED display products, which has greatly promoted the technological progress of the industry and represented the arrival of a new stage of small-pitch LED display development.

(2) Benefiting from the further decline in cost and the continuous maturity of solutions, small-pitch LED displays are gradually moving from professional display fields such as security, transportation, and energy to display areas such as retail, conference rooms, movie theaters, and virtual studios, which will also drive the rapid growth of the LED display market size.

(3) LED display commercial all-in-one machine ushered in the first year of development, with great development potential. With the price of LED display products declining year by year, the projector market of more than 100 inches will gradually be replaced by LED displays in the future. At the same time, in addition to the office conference mode, LED display commercial all-in-one machine can also be used for telemedicine, emergency command, distance education, home theater and so on. With the demand for high-definition display for 5G transmission and consumption upgrades, LED commercial display will have great potential in the future.

(4) The support of national policies has led to the expansion of demand for high-definition displays. From the perspective of application scenarios, security monitoring, smart medical care, intelligent conferences, smart education, etc. will gradually mature with 5G technology, further driving the demand for high-definition video display.
