Xiao Lei expects that Apple may not completely abandon mini-LED, but will continue to apply it online in high-end products such as MacBook Pro, Pro Display XDR, iMac Pro, and iPad Pro.
For Apple, the last thing to see should be a key part of the device being "stuck neck" by other suppliers, so Xiao Lei believes that the company will not easily turn its hard-earned mini-LED technology to OLED. Some time ago, many rumors said that Apple plans to launch an OLED screen iPad, and finally there is no following, after all, although mini-LED is expensive, but there are still more suppliers that can meet the requirements than OLED screens.
In the end, mini-LED is essentially a transitional technology, yield and production costs have not been greatly improved, Apple should not be devolved to low-end products in a short period of time. To wait until the mini-LED is widespread, I am afraid we will have to wait a while.
