"Furious hair rushing into the crown and fierce, loyal to the king to serve the country and self-Xuan Ang" This poem praises the national hero in china's history, the famous anti-Jin general - Yue Fei. To this day, when the Southern Song Dynasty is mentioned, the most famous ones are the Yang family general who is "full of loyal martyrs" and Yue Fei who is "loyal to the country". However, the things to be said today are related to the Jurchen generals who are closely related to these two people, Guanyan Zongbi.
After Yan Zongbi, the real name of the woman was called Wushu, so posterity also called it Jin Wushu. He was the fourth son of Jin Taizu who completed Yan Akuta, and his own Xiao Yong was good at war, and Wen Tao was a martial artist, and he was a general of the Jurchen tribe. He devoted his life to bringing the Southern Song Dynasty under Jurchen rule. He fought many battles with famous generals such as Han Shizhong of the Song Dynasty, and was the most important contributor to the Jurchens' ability to unify the Central Plains.
However, such a general who was invincible on the battlefield met his nemesis in life, Yue Fei. In the ninth year of Shaoxing (1139 AD), Yue Fei only led more than 15,000 soldiers to defeat Yan Zongbi's more than 100,000 people, which was the first victory of the Southern Song Dynasty in the form of cavalry, and the first defeat of Yan Zongbi.
In the Tenth Year of Shaoxing (1140 AD), at the Battle of Yingchang, Yan Zongbi led an army of 120,000 to attack Linying, but yue Fei was defeated by Yue Fei with only 30,000 troops. Killing nearly 5,000 Jurchen troops and taking nearly 2,000 prisoners, Emperor Yanzong fled in a hurry. Successive failures led to his internal claims against the Jin people not to attack the Song.
But for him, the good news came quickly. In the eleventh year of Shaoxing (1141 AD), when the Jin State was planning to negotiate peace with Song, Yue Fei was falsely imprisoned by the traitor Qin Ju. At the beginning of the twelfth year of Shaoxing (1142 AD), Yue Fei, his eldest son Yue Yun, and his subordinate Zhang Xiantong were beheaded, leaving a final pen before dying: "The sky is clear! The day is shining. ”
When the news of Yue Fei's death came out, the people wept bitterly, but Jin Guo all celebrated with a crown and said: "The peace talks have been learned from this." Sure enough, Yan Zongbi immediately led a large army to the south to attack the Song and forced the Song Dynasty to sign the "Shaoxing Peace Agreement". From then on, like the Jin Dynasty, he paid tribute to his subjects, and Yan Zongbi also became the marshal of the Jin Dynasty, holding the military and political power alone, and died of illness in the fifteenth year of Jin Dading (1175 AD).
The Jin Dynasty was founded and destroyed for only more than 120 years, and was later destroyed by the Mongols. However, after the invasion of the Southern Song Dynasty, many people in the Jin Dynasty gradually moved to the Central Plains, and have been living in the Central Plains ever since. Among them, in Henan, there is a place called Luyi County, where there are descendants of Emperor Yanzong, and more than a dozen of his villages are surnamed Completed Yan and have been living in seclusion for more than four hundred years.
In the past four hundred years, they still retain their "complete face" compound surname, and now they live in all the villages with complete surnames, one of which is called Guanlou Village, and there is a clan ancestral hall covering an area of nearly fifty acres. The ancestral hall has many inscriptions, as well as portraits of the Yan family for generations.
From the founding monarch of the Jin Dynasty to the last emperor, Yan Chengfeng, they called it "Shadow". Of course, this portrait of the true ancestor Yan Zongbi is the largest and most conspicuous. But it has been destroyed since 1966. Although after so many years, they have all been sinicized by the locals.
However, there are still some customs, such as the customary ritual handed down by the ancestors is the day of worshipping the ancestors on March 15 every year, and because of the single bloodline of the ancestors, they are resolutely not allowed to intermarry of the same race. Moreover, it is not allowed to complete the marriage between the Yan surname and the Yue surname, nor to listen to or watch "Say Yue Quan Biography", not to pass on "Man Jiang Hong", "Anti-Xuzhou", and other operas related to the Yue family, and not to watch movies related to it.
These latter rules also reflect the prestige of General Yue Fei in the hearts of the Jin Dynasty royal family and descendants, and can also prove how much respect these descendants of the Wanyan family have for their ancestors. Nowadays, there are few well-preserved families with such a lineage, and perhaps it will become an important basis for us to understand the history of the Jin Dynasty in the future.
