Therefore, later generations believe that Xiang Yu burned the Afang Palace with a torch.
In fact, Xiang Yu set fire to the Xianyang Palace, not the Afang Palace, expert: we wrongly blame Xiang Yu in 2000. Although xianyang palace was built in Qin Xiaogong, in the process of Qin Shi Huang's unification of the Six Kingdoms, Xianyang Palace was continuously expanded, and its "Bo" and "Big" were unimaginable to people now, but after Qin Shi Huang unified the Six Kingdoms, he believed that he had contributed to the Three Emperors and Five Emperors, so he decided to build another Afang Palace to replace Xianyang Palace.
However, it is recorded in the Book of Han and the Biography of Dongfang Shuo that in the third year of The Han Dynasty, Emperor Jianyuan of the Han Dynasty "raised his origin to the south of Acheng, to the east of zhou, and west of Yichun... I thought that Shanglin Garden belonged to the South Mountain. "It means that the Afang Palace was still intact in the middle of the Western Han Dynasty."
Afang Palace later because of the proximity to Chang'an became a place for soldiers, until the Song Dynasty, Afang Palace was destroyed, according to modern archaeological discoveries, Afang Palace was neither built, nor was it burned, in 1992, after UNESCO field investigation, Shaanxi Afang Palace site was identified as the world's largest palace site, belonging to the world wonders.

The Blue Pond Palace is a residence of Qin Shi Huang, built in the Orchid Pond, like an immortal island. In addition, Afang Palace also built a roof and an altar of sacrifice, which also reflects people's reverence for heaven and earth in ancient times.
During the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, animals were raised in the Shanglin Garden of Afang Palace, and when the emperor was idle, he would shoot hunting here, and the Western Han Dynasty's "Shanglin Fu" by Sima Xiangru described the Shanglin Garden.
Although it has become a ruins and the glory is gone, it still allows future generations to have many imaginations about it, imagining how this project was built thousands of years ago, and also making future generations lament the hardships of working people.
