Later, they both served as the main post of the Grand Military Region, He Bingyan served as the commander of the Chengdu Military Region, unfortunately died of illness in 1960, and Liao Hansheng successively served as the president of the Military Academy, the Beijing Military Region, the Academy of Military Sciences, the Nanjing Military Region, and the Shenyang Military Region as political commissars.
