There are only a few big heroes living in the novel, but everyone is familiar with them and thinks that they really existed

In the long history of our country for 5,000 years, there have been many well-known heroes, whose deeds have been written in novels by literary scholars and passed on by word of mouth among people. Ban Gu of the Han Dynasty defined the novel in the Book of Han and Yiwenzhi as follows: "The novelist flows, gai out of barnyard officials, talks in the streets, and is created by hearsayers." This means that "hearsay" is a feature of the novel, and the characters and deeds described in the novel are only for everyone's entertainment and cannot be taken seriously. So, which big heroes only appear in novels?

The first man, the vulture bone. Vulture Bone is the lord of the kingdom of Ugo in the novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", who is two years tall (equivalent to 2.77 meters now), and was born to feed on snakes and evil beasts. In the section of the Seven Captures of Meng, Meng Yu asked this man's tall and large vulture bone to help. When Vulture attacked the Shu army, he defeated the general Wei Yan. But later he still caught Zhuge Liang's plan and was burned to death. And in real history, there is no vulture bone.

The second person, Li Yuanba. This good man is an important figure who frequently appears in the classical novel "Speaking of Tang" and the commentaries "Sui and Tang Yanyi Biography" and "Xing Tang Biography". In people's minds, he was the fourth son of Li Yuan, the ancestor of Tang Gaozu, the younger brother of Tang Taizong Li Shimin, and the reincarnation of the golden-winged roc bird in legend. In the novel, Li Yuan's hegemony is infinite, holding two iron hammers weighing eight hundred pounds, traversing the world, and has never lost a battle in his life. As a result, he was provoked by thunder and died of lightning strikes when he raised his hammer to curse the sky. In fact, Li Yuanba is a fictional character, and there is no such person in history.

The third person, Luo Cheng. Like Li Yuanba, Luo Cheng is also a fictional character in novels such as "Speaking of Tang". Luo Cheng is Luo Yi's son and Qin Qiong's cousin, and because he has a handsome face but does not smile, he also has the title of "Cold Face Cold Gun Pretty Luo Cheng". In "Speaking of Tang", Luo Cheng was finally calculated by the crown prince Li Jiancheng and Li Yuanji, the prince of Qi, and was tricked by Liu Hei to shoot him with an arrow at the silt river.

The fourth person, Xue Dingshan. Xue Dingshan in the novel is the son of the famous Tang Dynasty general Xue Rengui, who is also a fictional character. According to legend, Xue Dingshan once led an army to pacify the Western Liang Kingdom, but later because his son Xue Gang drunkenly killed the crown prince and killed Tang Gaozong in the night of the Lantern Festival, he was ordered to be executed by Wu Zetian. The historical Xue Rengui did have a son, but his name was Xue Ne.

The fifth person, Yang Zongbao. In the novel "Biography of the General of the Yang Family", Yang Zongbao is the grandson of Yang Ye, the son of Yang Yanzhao, who married the famous Mu Guiying and was a heroic general. He was killed by an arrow during the conquest of Western Xia and died young. After The death of Yang Zongbao, the Yang family no longer had a man, which led to the story of the later "Twelve Widows Marching west". And Yang Zongbao did not exist in history.

Although so many heroes have never appeared in history, they can still be remembered by so many people. I believe that people worship not only this illusory figure, but the heroic spirit behind them.
