On August 16, 1957, the Mei Opera Troupe performed in the northwest, and the first stop was Lanzhou, Gansu. The first performance of the Mei Opera Troupe was to entertain the local party, government, military and literary and artistic circles, and after that, the Qin Cavity Theater Troupe in Lanzhou entertained us, and I only remember the "Yuanmen Chopper" performed by Mr. Liu Yiping, a famous old student of the Qin Cavity, which gave me a deep impression. Because I had learned from Mr. Chen Yanheng of Yibin the Tan School's "Yuanmen Chopper", Tan's singing voice was very emotional, and when I saw Mu Guiying, a look of surprise and joy was most in line with Yang Yanzhao's inner activities at that time. In the lyrics of the binding Zongbao, the Qin cavity and the Peking Opera have similarities, and the traces of the Transplantation of the Qin Cavity in Peking Opera are also seen, and now the two kinds of singing words are listed:
Qin Cavity (Yang Yanjing sings "Sharp Plate")
Yan jing angrily rushed to the crown,
Zongbao listened to the heart.
Marrying relatives privately,
Military law is not lenient.
Jiao Meng's second brother called out,
Pull out the door and eat the knife string.
Peking Opera (Yang Yanzhao sings "Loose Board")
Angry at Yang Yanzhao,
Stupid people listen to the root seedlings.
Destiny goes to the patrol,
Privately recruit pro-in-laws.
Gun pick Mu Tianwang,
Gui Ying descended the mountain nest.
Take the Father off the horse, this laugh (gad)!

Jiao Meng'er shouted,
Tie up the slaves and behead them.
Judging from the comparison of these two lyrics, the content is basically the same, except for the "before the words" rut used by qin, and the Peking opera is changed to "remote stripe" rut. In addition, Peking Opera mentions the plot of Yang Yanzhao being captured by Mu Guiying, so it uses Ga tone to express his shame and indignation.
Also, since Mu Guiying appeared, Yang Yanjing and Yang Yanzhao's attitudes also have a lot of similarities, according to my cousin Yan Jianzhai told me: "Tan Xinpei's play is characterized by a 'wait' word. She Taijun's intercession was inaccurate, the Eight Sages King also touched the nail, and as soon as Mu Guiying appeared, Xin Pei's singing and doing 'fear' was done for She Taijun, the Eight Sages King, and the full camp to see, and the joy in his heart showed that he had already 'waited' for the people who had come to break the Heaven's Gate Array. ”
I remember when Teacher Chen Yanheng taught me, when Mu Guiying sacrificed the dragon wood and promised to break the Heavenly Gate Array, Yang Yanzhao sang the "stacking board": "Listen to the words to laugh and laugh", which is novel and jumped off, which can best explain Yang Yanzhao's mood of blossoming.
Mr. Liu Yiping's lyrics after seeing the dragon wood are very interesting:
Descending Dragon Wood is a stick of wood,
Growing up in the mountains against steep cliffs,
I've lost my ugliness for you, and I've sold my shame,
Until now I have not asked myself to come,
Offering the treasure in the Buddha's Pavilion,
Xiao and the fifth brother put the horse platoon,
Thirty thousand grains and grasses were harvested together,
Five hundred soldiers skillfully arranged,
Camping village on the southeast corner,
The next day, please come to the reward - go out of the account!
This passage not only has the same level as Peking Opera, but also uses the "Huailai" rut. Mr. Liu's singing voice fully expresses Yang Yanjing's joyful mood, which is similar to Yang Yanzhao, played by Tan Lao. In short, the screenwriting technique of this play is full of comedy, so it is still welcomed by the audience. In March 1982, Mei Baoyue and Mei Baojiu performed in Hong Kong, and Baoyue performed "The Cutter of the Gate". Bao Jiu performed the famous Meipai drama "Farewell to the King", "Phoenix Returns to the Nest", "Life and Death Hate", "Yutang Spring", "Noble Concubine Drunk", Yue and Jiu also co-starred in "Mu Guiying Hanging Commander", which was warmly welcomed by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots and audiences from the Americas, Europe, Japan, and Nanyang. I received a letter from a friend in Hong Kong saying: "Bao Jiu's costume performance resembles his father, and some of the old audiences who have seen Mr. Mei Lanfang's play are so excited that they shed tears." ”

Returning to the truth, I have some immature views, which are just for Qin Cavity workers: Qin Cavity has the plot of She Taijun kneeling to Yang Yanjing, which I think is not appropriate. Because She Taijun is not an ordinary old lady, she is a famous general who is skilled in Liutao, who is the commander of the Liao, of course, understands military discipline and military law, and kneels to her son in feudal society to beg for forgiveness of Yang Zongbao, which seems to damage the image of She Taijun. Yang Yanzhao's lyrics to his mother, which was handled by Peking Opera, only said that Yang Zongbao violated military law and recruited relatives from the front, and could not be covered up by the law because of his young age. Finally, Yang Yanzhao's lyrics: "If the mother is to talk about love again, she will kill herself." "So that She Taijun can't say anything more." Therefore, I suggest that the Qin cavity workers should carefully revise the script, which is more suitable for the spleen and stomach of today's audience.

In addition, when pardoning Zong Bao, Peking Opera is full of camps to protect the capital, and the Qin cavity has the plot of She Taijun and the Eight Sages Wang Baoben. Yang Yanjing sang the lyrics: "Pick up the letter of protection and put down the heart, even if he is strong and thief Cold Ben ginseng us." This treatment is better than Peking Opera, because those who violate military orders and sentence them to beheading are not enough to rely on the crowd to protect the capital, especially when it comes to the opposing Wang Qiang, which shows Yang Yanjing's old scheming.
