Concubine of the Qianlong Emperor and empress Xiaoyichun of the Jiaqing Emperor's biological mother

Empress Xiaoyi chun (1727-1775), Wei Jiashi (originally surnamed Wei, originally the Yellow Banner of the Han Army, later raised the flag into the Manchu army with a yellow flag, and the Jiaqing Dynasty changed her surname to Wei Jia), a concubine of the Qianlong Emperor, the biological mother of the Jiaqing Emperor, and the daughter of the internal governor Wei Qingtai.

In the fifth year of Yongzheng (Ding Wei, 1727 AD), on the ninth day of the first month of September, Wei Jia was born, and she was sixteen years younger than Qianlong.

In the tenth year of Empress Xiaoyichun's reign in Qianlong (乙丑, 1745 AD), Wei Jia was given the title of Wei Guiren (魏贵人), and in the same year he was also made a concubine.

In the thirteenth year of Qianlong (1748 AD), Ling Concubine was promoted to Ling Concubine. In the twenty-fourth year of Qianlong (己卯, 1759 AD), Concubine Ling was promoted to Concubine Ling. On the sixth day of the first month of the twenty-fifth year of Qianlong (1760 AD), the Tiandi family of the noble concubine Zhongyuan Mingyuan gave birth to Qianlong's fifteenth son, Yuan yan. This son looks handsome and looks very similar to Qianlong, so he is deeply loved. In the thirtieth year of Qianlong (乙酉, 1765 AD), on the tenth day of the first month of May, he was promoted to imperial concubine. Because she lived in the palace for more than twenty years and had a profound understanding of the relationship between people in the harem, she managed it with ease, plus she was influenced by the Empress Fucha clan, and she usually lived frugally and never interfered in the government. In the thirty-eighth year of Qianlong (癸巳, 1773 AD), his son Yuanyan was made crown prince, and Qianlong wrote the name of Emperor Yan on the edict in accordance with the rules set by Yongzheng, sealed it and placed it behind the plaque of "Zhengda Guangming" in the Qianqing Palace. When the imperial concubine saw that her son had been made crown prince, she was naturally full of joy. Unfortunately, however, she did not see her son ascend the throne, because her husband, Emperor Qianlong, was so fit that twenty years had passed, and her son was still stuck in the position of Prince Jia.

The Wei Jia clan, originally the Wei clan, was the daughter of the internal governor Wei Qingtai, who originally belonged to the Manchurian Zhenghuang Banner, and was later carried into Manchuria by Qianlong to set the yellow flag, that is, "raising the flag". Wei Jia was born on the ninth day of the ninth month of the fifth year of Yongzheng, and because he was subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he was supposed to be elected to the palace as a palace maid, but later stood out and became the emperor's concubine. The word "chong" is used in the historical records, because in the harem, nobles, constant presence, and promises are all of low grade. According to the regulations of the Qing Dynasty Ministry of Internal Affairs on the selection of palace women, the age of selected palace women should be between thirteen and seventeen years old, so Wei Jiashi may have entered the palace in the fourth year of Qianlong. It is estimated that Wei Jia's face was beautiful, kind-hearted, and very popular with the Qianlong Emperor, so in the first month of the Qianlong decade, he was named a nobleman, at this time Wei Jia was only nineteen years old, only six years into the palace, and then in November of the Qianlong decade, he was ranked as one of the three concubines (at that time, there were three concubines on the throne of the Qianlong Emperor, namely Shu Concubine Yehenara, Yi Concubine Bai clan and Ling Concubine Wei Clan), the Qianlong Emperor named him "Ling Concubine", and the word "Ling" came out of the "Ru Gui Ru Zhang, Ling Wen Ling Wang" in the "Book of Poetry, Daya", which has a beautiful meaning in ancient Chinese. Probably Wei Jia let the emperor hear and see the kind and beautiful side of the jade, so he got this title, from the records in the "Qing Shi Lu", it can be seen that when the Jin Dynasty was sealed, Wei Jia was already ranked first among the concubines, ranking before the Shu concubine (later Shu Concubine) Yehenara who had an advantage in family lineage and seniority, which had to be said to be a great honor.

In the thirteenth year of Qianlong, Wei Jiashi was promoted to Ling Concubine, in the twenty-fourth year of Qianlong, Wei Jiashi was promoted to Ling Guifei, and Qianlong thirty years became an imperial concubine. At this time, Empress Xiaoxian chun had died, and after empress Dowager Nala (the successor empress of the Chun Emperor) had also fallen out of favor and was sent to the Cold Palace, the Qianlong Emperor had never made an empress again, so Wei Jiashi had since been the honor of the imperial concubine to control the affairs of the six palaces, and acted as the empress, becoming the lord of the harem with no name but real power for 10 years.

In the Qianlong Dynasty, Wei Jia was the concubine who had the most children for the Qianlong Emperor, and was also one of the concubines who had the most children in the Qing Dynasty.

The specific age of the children they gave birth to is as follows:

Qianlong was born on July 15, 2017, the seventh daughter of the Emperor, who in the twenty-ninth year assigned the grandson of Prince Celing of Chaoyong, Lavan Dorji, who was the Prince of Qi, and in the thirty-fifth year, the seventh daughter of the Emperor was crowned Princess Gulun and Jing and married, at that time Wei Jia was only an imperial concubine, but the seventh daughter of the Emperor enjoyed the honor of being a daughter born of an empress. On the tenth day of the first month of the 40th year, the seventh daughter of the Emperor was only 20 years old. Wei Jia died on the nineteenth day after the death of his eldest daughter, and perhaps Wei Jia's death was caused by the early death of his daughter.

Qianlong was born on July 17, 2002, the fourteenth son of the Emperor Yonglu, who died in the twenty-fifth year of Qianlong at the age of four.

Qianlong was born on July 14, 23, the ninth daughter of the Emperor, the thirty-sixth year of the title of Princess Heshuo and Ke, and the thirty-seventh year of marriage to the son of Wu Yashi's co-founder Shi Zhaohui, the first class Wu Yi Yong Gong Zalantai. Forty-five years of the Emperor's ninth daughter, only 23 years old.

Qianlong was born on the sixth day of October in the twenty-fifth year of the 25th year of the emperor's fifteenth son, Yongyan, and was born for the Jiaqing Emperor.

Qianlong was born on November 30, 27, the sixteenth son of the emperor, and died prematurely at the age of 4.

Qianlong was born on May 11, 31, the seventeenth son of the emperor, Yong Xuan, fifty-four years fengduoluo belle, jiaqing four years jinqing county king, jiaqing twenty-five years fenghe Shuoqing prince, the same year xue, then 55 years old.

From this time series, it can be seen that between the 21st year of Qianlong and the 31st year of Qianlong, Wei Jia gave birth to four sons and two daughters for Emperor Gaozong, and the time interval was relatively short, which showed that he was favored. It was also during this period that Wei Jiashi jumped from concubine to concubine and even imperial concubine. As the saying goes, once the palace gate enters the depths like the sea, in this harem with strict barriers, it is not easy for Wei Jia to surface. Empress Uranara fell out of favor when she toured the south with Qianlong, and Wei Jiashi, who was a noble concubine at the time, was also present, and the Nala clan fell from the hot empress high position into the abyss of not seeing the light of day, and Wei Jiashi should be the best witness.

She died on the 29th day of the first month of the 40th year of Qianlong at the age of 49. In early September of the 60th year of Qianlong, Qianlong proclaimed Emperor Yi as crown prince, and at the same time ordered that his mother, Emperor Yi, be posthumously named Empress Dowager Yi, and gave her the title of "Empress Xiaoyi", and was later buried in Yuling as "Empress Xiaoyi Gongshun Kang Yu Ci Ren Duan Ke Min Zhe Yi Tianyu Shengchun Empress". In the twenty-third year of Jiaqing, the Wei clan in the Jade Mu was changed to the Wei Jia clan.

In July 1928, after the warlord Sun Dianying excavated the Yuling and Cixi Tombs, Puyi, who lived in Tianjin, sent his widows Zaize, Qi Ling, Baoxi and others to The Tanglin to deal with the aftermath. During the cleaning of the Yuling Underground Palace, the body of Empress Xiaoyi Chun, dressed in a yellow dragon robe, with intact skin and flesh, no decay, and many wrinkles under her cheeks and mouth, and her teeth had not been completely removed, was found between the two coffins on the west side of the coffin.

Four months after the thirty years of Qianlong's death, when Emperor Chun's hair was cut off, Qianlong Jin made Wei Jia an imperial concubine, and the imperial concubine Wei Jia had become the most famous person in the harem. The Yongzheng Emperor did not make another empress after the death of Empress Xiaojingxian (September of the ninth year of Yongzheng), and the Kangxi Emperor did not make another empress for 33 years after the death of the third empress, Empress Xiaoyiren, in July of the 28th year of Kangxi.

Concubine Ling (Zhao Lijuan) in "Huan Zhu GeGe" not to mention that when Qianlong secretly established Yong yan, the fifteenth son of the emperor, as the crown prince in the thirty-seventh year (1773), in order not to reveal the intention of establishing the crown prince, he could only let Yong Yan's mother Wei Jia continue to maintain the status of imperial concubine. From the twenty years of Qianlong to the forty years of 20 years, whether in Qianlong's heart or in the harem, the most influential was the Wei Jia clan.

Qianlong originally wanted to wait until Qianlong announced the selection of the crown prince and announced his abdication at the same time as he announced the appointment of the crown prince, and then crowned Wei Jiashi as empress, but unexpectedly, only two years after secretly establishing the crown prince, Wei Jiashi actually died at the age of forty-nine. This made Wei Jiashi, who had been the imperial concubine for eleven years, not get the title of empress that he deserved until his death. Perhaps out of a kind of spiritual atonement, after Wei Jia's death, Qianlong buried the coffin of the imperial concubine Wei Jiashi in the Yuling Underground Palace. In Qianlong's view, this would not cause all kinds of speculation among his subordinates about the crown prince, and three imperial concubines had already been buried in the underground palace of Yuling—The Noble Concubine of the Huixian Emperor Gao Jiashi, the Noble Concubine of the Zhe Mercy Emperor Fucha, and the Noble Concubine of the Shujia Emperor Jin Jia, and the three sons of the Jin Jia Clan were all alive. The most fortunate thing for Wei Jia was that she gave birth to the fifteenth son of the Emperor Yongyan in the Yuanmingyuan "Heaven and Earth Family Spring", and it was precisely because this son was established by Qianlong as the heir, that is, the later Jiaqing Emperor, that she was able to mother and become a son, and posthumously crowned her as empress after qianlong declared Yongyan crown prince on the third day of September in the 60th year of Qianlong. But this is only the mourning after death, Wei Jia's Yangshou is the same as that of the nala clan, after they enter menopause, their bodies and minds have undergone tremendous changes, and they are a period that needs to be cared for. But in reality, they can't see their husbands, and their children have grown up and have their own homes, and they can only taste loneliness alone in the empty palace. Despite being a golden garment, the Wei Jia clan and the Uranara clan actually passed away at the age of 49, which seemed to be accidental, but in fact it was not accidental. "How much spring does it take to close the sun" and "A lifetime leads to an empty house" indeed writes about the spiritual suffering of the vast majority of women in the Forbidden City, whether they are sensitive or numb...
