How did Vietnam recover its population so quickly during the war? After the end of the Vietnam War, Vietnam not only experienced a significant economic setback, but also a serious demographic crisis.
So the local government came up with a brilliant idea to quickly resolve the population crisis, but this practice was condemned by the international community.

How much population has Vietnam lost? And how did they manage to restore the population in a short period of time?
Vietnam suffered
We all know that Vietnam has been at war. Vietnam and Afghanistan can be called brothers and sisters, and they have never stopped, and the gunfire of war has tormented Vietnam's land to the ground, just like Afghanistan.
Afghanistan is known as the graveyard of empire, and Vietnam is no worse than him. A coalition of France, Japan, and the United States and many other countries have all returned here, and even China has a headache for Vietnam.
Why? After Qin Shi Huang unified the Six Kingdoms, Vietnam became part of the Qin State, but Vietnam struggled many times in rebellion and detachment from submission.
Eventually, it became a vassal state of the Qing Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty, and was given the title of "Vietnam" by the emperor at that time, and this name is still used today.
French colonization
However, the good times did not last long, and before it could last a few years, the French army began to invade Vietnam, which was still our vassal state. Qing officials certainly wouldn't sit idly by, so they sent troops to help Vietnam.
However, everyone knew the situation of the Qing government at that time, so it was still losing Vietnam to France. Vietnam thus entered the colonial period.
But the Vietnamese did not give up so easily, and after years of fighting, they finally formed the Vietnamese Communist Party, intending to retake their country. World War II broke out as Vietnam prepared to fight a big fight to drive the French out and retake their homeland.
Vietnam became independent
Japan found itself to have complete control over China, and it had to occupy Vietnam first. In order not to let its friendship with Japan fall out, Germany forced France to cede control of Vietnam to Japan. Vietnam then became a Japanese colony.
At this time, Vietnam did not fight France anymore, turned the muzzle of the gun to aim at Japan, and fought with Japan again.
After several years of fighting, at the end of World War II, Japan was finally wiped out. The Vietnamese people were noisy with gongs and drums, firecrackers were fired in unison, and they were overjoyed.
Originally thought that it could finally live a stable life, but France made a comeback, valued Vietnam's important strategic resources, so it launched a fierce attack on it.
After several years of fighting, Vietnam finally won the war with the help of the United States. Independence was achieved in 1955. At this time, Vietnam was divided into two, South Vietnam and North Vietnam.
The United States launched the Vietnam War
Vietnam really doesn't stop. In order to open up the Far East battlefield, the United States also chose Vietnam and directly intervened in the Vietnamese Civil War. Then Vietnam began a decades-long civil war.
During the civil war, the United States sent troops to support South Vietnam, but the Soviet Union knew that it could not stand it and immediately sent troops to support North Vietnam. The war then turned into a battle between the United States and the Soviet Union, which also made Vietnam a third party.
Then our country naturally will not watch others fight at their own doorstep, in case they accidentally hurt us. So they began to donate money and materials to Vietnam, and even people went to help.
Finally, with the help of our country and the Soviet Union, the United States was driven out of their territory, and Vietnam ushered in a period of independence.
Subsequently, I don't know whether Vietnam thought it had won the War against the United States, or whether it had a bias in its perception of our country, and it was somewhat inflated and began to drift.
Isn't it a living version of a farmer and a snake that we want to start invading our territory just after we helped to complete our independence?
Such an act, we certainly will not get used to him. Soon they beat them up, and they saw that the difference in strength from ours was too great, so they fought cambodia and Laos again.
In this way, the war kept going on, and it became more and more vigorous, so that in the end, the people of their own country were almost destroyed. Later, according to statistics, the number of casualties of Vietnamese soldiers in the war has reached more than 8 million, and the number of innocent deaths has exceeded 5 million.
Restore the population and encourage fertility
You know, at that time, the total population of Vietnam was only 20 million people, and almost half of them suffered, which was a disaster for Vietnam.
Vietnam's economic level has also plummeted, and even many people have become problematic in food and clothing. But then again, economic problems cannot be solved in a short period of time.
In contrast, the restoration of the population problem is the top priority, and it is not difficult to develop the economy again if the number goes up.
After a long war, most of the people left behind in Vietnam were people who needed to be cared for. Most of Vietnam's industrial development is at a standstill, and jobs are scarce.
So the first thing Vietnam did was to encourage fertility and let Vietnamese women have more children.
Although this method is effective for the rapid recovery of the population, it has been criticized by countries around the world, is this not a reversal of history?
Women's organizations in various countries have severely condemned this practice at all, and this practice in Vietnam has no morality at all, allowing modern women to return to the life of hundreds of years ago, women's dignity no longer exists, and the social status that should be there has completely disappeared, and they are no longer themselves.
Vietnam even requires that a woman have multiple children, and although more children have been born under this policy, a series of problems have followed.
Women have completely lost their working hours during breastfeeding and have no source of income, so Vietnamese men need to bear more financial pressure.
These wives not only have to take care of their children at home, but also have to work outside the home to support the family, while the husbands do not need to work or take care of the children at home, and enjoy the fruits of their wives' labor.
Incentive fertility policies
Slowly, more and more people do not want to have more children, so what to do? So the Vietnamese government came up with another solution and began to implement a policy of rewarding fertility, rewarding families with more children. If a woman has more than ten children, the woman can earn the title of "heroic mother" and receive a large subsidy.
This welfare policy promulgated by Vietnam is only a stopgap measure. Its fundamental purpose is to increase the number of people in the country, and thus to improve the proportion of the population in the country.
After the promulgation of this policy, it is true that to a certain extent, the economic pressure of the family has been alleviated, but this policy is completely to treat women as reproductive machines, there is no human nature at all, and even many women have not yet reached adulthood and begun to have children.
Disadvantages arise from abolishing the policy
At that time, this method played a great role in the rapid recovery of the population. In just a few decades, Vietnam's population has grown rapidly, and the population crisis has been effectively alleviated. Vietnam's economy is developing rapidly, but the drawbacks are also obvious, especially the harm to women.
With the continuous improvement of Vietnam's economic level, Vietnamese women have escaped from life as fertility machines.
How can Japan recover its population?
Japan has done something similar. Japan was devastated in World War II, and many men died on the battlefield. Japan also understands that population is the foundation of economic development, so rapid population recovery has become the most important thing in Japan at present.
Shamefully, Japan has gone even further than Vietnam, making many countries shameful. Japan has pursued a policy of drastically lowering the age of marriage for women. At its most exaggerated, you can marry even at the age of 13, and if you don't marry at the age of 13, you will be punished.
Think about what the concept of 13 years old is, they are still children at this age, their bodies have not yet been developed, and they are going to marry and have children in Japan, which is sacrificing this generation of women to promote Japan's population growth. Completely disregarding such an approach, how much harm will be caused to women!
Not only physically, but also psychologically, it has caused irreparable trauma to women.
Although many countries have done such a thing as lowering the age of marriage, Japan is the first to inhumanly lower the age to 13 years old. You think that's the end of it, and we're completely underestimating Japan's lower limit.
It is an indisputable fact that Japan has not been satisfied with the use of these women, and has trained a large number of women, sent them abroad to earn money for their own country, and has also attracted many men from other countries to have children with local women, so that Japan's population and economy can recover quickly.
Whether in the war or after the war, Japanese women are poor victims, and they do not know what kind of existence Japanese women are in the eyes of Japan.
In fact, many countries have encouraged fertility in order to enjoy the demographic dividend. But behavior like Japan's, which has no bottom line at all, is something that everyone should resist.
Perhaps because of the historical problems that have existed in Japan since ancient times, the status of Japanese women has always been very low, so it has also caused their miserable lives.
Until now, Japanese girls have to change their husbands' surnames after marriage. Looking at the international situation, many countries are facing population pressure, but how to maintain a steady and healthy increase in population has become a difficult problem faced by all countries in the world.
