1. Han Lin'er was called emperor
In 1366 AD, Xiaoming King Han Lin'er took a boat, accidentally overturned the boat and drowned, the cause of Xiaoming Wang's death has not been conclusive to this day, some people say that his death is purely accidental, and some people blame Xiaoming Wang's death on Zhu Yuanzhang's frame-up. Han Lin'er is the son of Han Shantong, the leader of the Red Turban Army.
Han Shantong was named "King Ming" by his subordinates in the Red Turban Army, and later Han Shantong was killed by the Yuan Army, and Han Lin'er naturally became the new leader of the Red Turban Army, known as "Xiaoming King". Han Lin'er took this opportunity to claim the title of emperor, establish the Song regime, and call on the exploited and oppressed people to follow him, overthrow the Yuan Dynasty, and restore the Song Dynasty.

2. Liquidate the Red Turban Army
Han Lin'er declared himself empress, and the Yuan Dynasty saw that its momentum was booming, and hurriedly sent troops to suppress it. In 1362, Han Lin'er and Liu Futong were almost captured by the Yuan army, and later the two fled to Anfeng with the remnants, thinking that escaping to Anfeng would be safe for the time being, but they did not expect that the nightmare was still ahead.
Near Anfeng was Zhang Shicheng's forces, and as soon as Zhang Shicheng saw that Han Lin'er had been beaten by the Yuan army and lost his armor, he fell into the well and led his troops to attack Han Lin'er in an attempt to swallow the Red Turban Army. Zhang Shicheng ordered his subordinates Lu An to lead his troops to surround the Red Turban Army, and then gradually encroached, the Red Turban Army was trapped in Anfeng City, seeing that there was little grain and grass left, even if his men did not die under Zhang Shicheng's knife, they would starve to death, Han Lin'er had no choice but to cry in the face of this situation.

3. Zhu Yuanzhang came to the rescue
But Liu Futong has not given up, as the actual controller of the Song regime, under the desperate situation, he must stand up and come up with countermeasures, thinking about it, he had to ask Zhu Yuanzhang for help, in the past Zhu Yuanzhang was also a member of the Red Turban Army, but later there were different opinions, Zhu Yuanzhang did not believe in the Song regime, so he parted ways with Han Lin'er, and now he may be eaten by Zhang Shicheng at any time, only with the belief of trying to find Zhu Yuanzhang to help himself.
Zhu Yuanzhang received Liu Futong's distress letter is also uncertain, he is still a courtier of King Xiaoming, and he can't say anything if he doesn't help, moreover, if Zhang Shicheng really eats Han Lin'er, he will sit on two pieces of land, which is also a big threat to himself in the future, if he helps Han Lin'er, how to place him in the future is also a problem. Zhu Yuanzhang approached Liu Bowen to discuss the matter, and finally decided to send troops to help Han Lin'er drive out Zhang Shicheng.

4. Serve Han Lin'er
Zhu Yuanzhang personally led a large army to engage Lü An, because Zhu Yuanzhang's troops were well-trained in normal days and had strong individual combat ability, and soon Lü An was defeated, Liu Futong was killed in this war, and Han Lin'er was rescued by Zhu Yuanzhang.
Zhu Yuanzhang was ready to take the rescued Han Lin'er to Ying Tianfu and also performed the courtesy of a monarch to him, but Liu Bowen hurriedly stopped him after hearing this, persuading Han Lin'er to be just a cow herder and there was no need to offer him like an emperor, and at the same time he also told Zhu Yuanzhang that now the destiny of heaven was returned, and his subordinates believed in Zhu Yuanzhang instead of Han Lin'er, and suggested that Zhu Yuanzhang first attack Chen Youyi, then capture Zhang Shicheng, expand his strength, and finally unify the world.
Zhu Yuanzhang agreed with Liu Bowen's statement, but at present he still had to worship Han Lin'er, after all, Han Lin'er was still a veritable emperor, and then Zhu Yuanzhang took Han Lin'er to Chuzhou, and built a palace there, arranging new eunuchs and palace women to serve Han Lin'er like serving the emperor, these people obviously looked like they were serving Han Lin'er, but in fact they were spying on Han Lin'er, and Zhu Yuanzhang was a bit threatening the son of heaven at this moment to order the princes.

5. Han Lin'er drowned
Han Lin'er was already aware of his situation, he had no chips in his hands, and he had become relieved, no longer making up his own mind but consulting with Zhu Yuanzhang.
In 1366, Zhu Yuanzhang's forces were already covering the sky, in order to better control Han Lin'er, he decided to take Han Lin'er to his side and ordered his subordinate Liao Yongzhong to pick up Han Lin'er, but on the way back, Han Lin'er's boat overturned, and Han Lin'er also drowned in the Yellow River.
Han Lin'er's death is still a mystery, some people say that Zhu Yuanzhang deliberately set a trap, on the grounds that Han Lin'er died, he naturally became emperor, some people say that Zhu Yuanzhang did not know anything about this matter, it was designed by his subordinate Liao Yongzhong, and some people said that Han Lin'er's death was purely accidental, no matter what, this story has become history.

brief summary
Regardless of whether King Xiaoming died or not, the Song regime had already existed in name at that time, but after the death of King Xiaoming, it marked the complete disappearance of the Song regime, and also paved the way for Zhu Yuanzhang to justify his claim to the title of emperor.
