Han Lin'er is known as the "Xiaoming King", and he and his father Han Shantong both declare that "Maitreya was born and the Ming King was born". When Han Shantong was alive, he regarded himself as the King of Ming or the King of Daming, so his son did not dare to trespass, so the so-called Birth of King Ming also refers to the two fathers and sons of Han Shantong and Han Lin'er. Some people said that he was the son of Li. His ancestors used the White Lotus Sect to burn incense to confuse the people, and was exiled to Yongnian, and his father Han Shantong was also publicized by the locals as the eighth grandson of Emperor Huizong of Song and should rule the Central Plains, so he killed the white horse and black bull at that time, swore an oath to the heavens, plotted to raise an army, and decided to use the red scarf as a name.

In the fifteenth year of Zhizheng, that is, in 1355, the rebel general Liu Futong found Han Lin'er, and finally found him at the Jiahe River in The Mountains and welcomed him to Bozhou, where Han Lin'er was proclaimed emperor, with the title of Xiaoming Wang, the founding name of Song, and the era name of Longfeng. During the reign of Han Lin'er, he stirred up the storm for twelve years, he occupied the "Dayi", anti-Yuan and Song Dynasties, at the peak of the time claimed to have a million male masters, is a big figure that can not be ignored in the last years of the Yuan Dynasty, when Zhu Yuanzhang did it under his command. A large part of Han Lin'er's achievements at that time came from the prestige of his father, Han Shantong, whose strength could not be underestimated at that time. However, it is such a big person, but in the later stage, he has no foothold, to a certain extent, his personal leadership ability is not very strong, compared with Chen Youyu and Zhu Yuanzhang, it is still a big difference.
Han Lin'er has created his own glorious era since the anti-Yuan, but with the counterattack of the Yuan army, he has also suffered a heavy blow, and Han Lin'er is also facing a big problem, although Han Lin'er is powerful, he and Liu Futong do not understand how to restrain this group of grassy generals, wherever the Red Turban Army in the north goes, the common people are welcomed, but they can be said to be burning and looting, doing no evil, and soon failing to live up to the accumulated people's hearts, so that although they captured the city, they were easily taken back by the Yuan army.
In 1358, the Song dynasty led by Han Lin'er moved the capital from Bozhou to Bieliang, and when Emperor Yuan Shun heard about it, he stepped up his efforts to suppress it, and the following year, the Yuan general Chahan Timur marched into the army and went straight to Bieliang. After arriving at Bieliang City, they immediately surrounded Han Lin'er, Liu Futong, and others. The army around Han Lin'er, many times to meet the battle, was beaten back by the Yuan army, Liu Futong saw this situation, did not want to sit still, so he led Han Lin'er, under the escort of cavalry, all the way to Anfeng, waiting until Anfeng and the two thought they could take a good rest, but what they did not expect was that Zhang Shicheng fell into the well and wanted to take the opportunity to eliminate them, so he launched an attack on Anfeng. Zhang Shicheng's troops also surrounded them, and Liu Fu informed him that this time it was less fierce, and in the case of extreme urgency, he remembered a person, that is, Zhu Yuanzhang, who at this time, although nominally under the leadership of the Song regime, actually belonged to an independent military group, and he did not know whether he would help himself. Liu Futong couldn't manage so much, and immediately sent someone to contact Zhu Yuanzhang to request that troops be sent to break the siege. Weighing the pros and cons, Zhu Yuanzhang decided to personally rescue Han Lin'er. Under zhu yuanzhang's rescue, Zhang Shicheng's troops were defeated, and Han Lin'er and Liu Futong escaped another disaster, and then zhu Yuanzhang took chuzhou, so That Song Zhengquan was temporarily saved.
From a historical point of view, Han Lin'er's role is very huge, Han Lin'er's first few years on the throne, his greatest contribution was to block bullets for Xu Shouhui, Zhang Shicheng, Zhu Yuanzhang and other people behind him, with the existence of Han Lin'er, the Yuan Dynasty had a spearhead to target, so that these tyrants could develop rapidly. In the later course of history, it is not difficult for us to find that after Zhu Yuanzhang unified the south, Xu Da, Chang Yuchun and others led their troops to the Northern Expedition, all the way to the north, and there is a factor that cannot be ignored, that is, the elite troops of the Yuan Dynasty at that time were actually exhausted by the Red Turban Army more than ten years ago.
Han Lin'er's final ending is actually quite humiliating, in the twelfth year of Long Feng, Zhu Yuanzhang sent someone to pick him up to Ying Tian, at that time Zhu Yuanzhang was already the King of Wu, but Han Lin'er was still the nominal emperor, at this time Zhu Yuanzhang just beat down Ying Tian, according to common sense, to take over the emperor at that time to preside over the overall situation, but at that time Zhu Yuanzhang already had the plan to be called emperor, if Han Lin'er really took over that scene must be very embarrassing, he must have a suitable reason and timing to be called emperor. As long as Han Lin'er was still there, he had no legitimate reason, so he privately told Liao Yongzhong to take a boat by water when he picked up Han Lin'er to meet the sky, and sunk the boat on the way, thus allowing Han Lin'er to drown in the river. The direct result of this wave of operations was that Han Lin'er drowned, and Zhu Yuanzhang successfully became emperor. Regarding the history of Zhu Yuanzhang's title of emperor, I am afraid that this is the most reasonable explanation.
