Li Gui, male, born in July 1951, from Yi County, Hebei Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and a retired cadre. He retired in July 2011. Settled in Shijiazhuang City.
Li Gui's path of calligraphy and painting went from learning willow body from a teenager to learning willow body with zhang Pengcheng, a famous calligrapher in the county, and then learning European style, and slowly turned to carefully studying Erwang, Mi Fu, and Zhu Yunming's cursive writing, focusing on exercising and improving himself in practice.
In particular, taking advantage of the opportunity of the development of network technology, I purchased the CD of Teacher Sun Yude and watched the online teaching of Teacher Yang Zaichun, Teacher Sun Yude, Teacher Zhan Renzuo and Teacher Zeng Gang.
He is now a "National Calligraphy Training Teacher (Senior)" certified by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, a calligrapher and painter of the Traditional Culture Poetry Calligraphy and Painting Institute of Hebei Province, a director of the Artists Association of Chang'an District of Shijiazhuang, and a contracted calligrapher and painter for the Hebei Calligraphy and Painting Benefiting the People of Wenyuan Zhai.
Li Gui retired in shijiazhuang, the provincial capital, often participated in calligraphy and painting pen meetings and calligraphy and painting exhibitions organized by various painting academies, cultural media companies, and social organizations, and won many awards. Actively participate in various calligraphy and painting public welfare activities serving troops, enterprises and communities.
His works were introduced by the Hebei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles in Hebei Literature and Art Circles, January 2017, No. 321. In 2018, he participated in the Chinese Folk National Calligraphy and Painting Competition and won the Excellent Work Award.
Many of his works have been collected by Wutong Art Museum of Hebei Province, China Red Culture Research Association, Beijing Deyi Shuangxin Public Welfare Foundation, Shijiazhuang Municipal Archives, Troops and Individuals. In 2020, he was awarded the title of "Most Loving Supporting Artist" by Shijiazhuang Patriotic Army Volunteer Federation.
