Beijing, January 7 (China News Service) -- The China Automobile Dealers Association released the latest issue of the "Automobile Consumption Index" on the 7th: the automobile consumption index in December 2021 was 71.4. According to a survey of dealers, It is expected that China's car sales will grow by about 5% in 2022.

Vehicle sales in January 2022 are expected to be essentially the same as in December 2021.

From the sub-index that makes up the automobile consumption index, the demand sub-index in December 2021 was 78.6, a slight decrease from the previous month, and it is expected that the demand for the automobile market in January 2022 will not fluctuate much compared with December 2021.

The december 2021 store entry sub-index was 81.3, up slightly from the previous month.

The December 2021 purchase sub-index was 82.7, down slightly, and consumer purchases in January 2022 are expected to be essentially unchanged compared to December 2021.

The China Automobile Dealers Association said that in 2021, China's automotive industry experienced a shortage of chips and the spread of the epidemic at multiple points, maintaining stable market growth.
