When the Red Army was a military political commissar, it became a division political commissar more than ten years later, and when he was awarded a large title, he was embarrassed by Marshal Luo Ronghuan

"Drinking the Yellow Dragon Remember bloody, spring wind and green grass to Chengping." The eastern neighbor suddenly saw the demon atmosphere rise, and the sword box suddenly made the clock hanging on the wall ticking, and after each crisp sound, it was further from the centenary of the founding of the party. A hundred years ago, the party that was proclaimed in Jiaxing South Lake was only a few dozen people. Who could have predicted that she would lead the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation again?

But the difficult and difficult revolutionary road is very difficult, and I don't know how many revolutionary pioneers have left their precious lives on the way forward. After more than 20 years of marching and wandering, a new China was finally created. With the stability of the country's surrounding environment and the right track of economic construction, the evaluation of military ranks has also been put on the agenda.

When the Red Army was a military political commissar, it became a division political commissar more than ten years later, and when he was awarded a large title, he was embarrassed by Marshal Luo Ronghuan

The task is heavy and complex, and although it does not achieve absolute fairness, the people responsible for the assessment try to do every detail. But there was one person who made Luo Ronghuan feel bad, he was Li Chiran, he was a military political commissar during the Red Army, but on the eve of the liberation of the whole country, he became the political commissar of the division.

Xie Zichang's hometown

Shaanxi Anding County, a famous old revolutionary area, where ten revolutionary soldiers have been awarded the rank of general, is a famous old revolutionary area and general county in northern Shaanxi, but as early as 1942, in order to commemorate the revolutionary hero Xie Zichang changed its name to Zichang County, and this is also Li Chiran's hometown.

In 1914, Li Chiran was born in Anding County, a silversmith family, his father with a good hand, to provide him with a good living environment, compared to most people in that era, Li Chiran's childhood life is still very happy, at least not to eat enough to make trouble.

The Li family does not want to worry about their livelihood, but their father does not want his son to take over his mantle, but hopes that he can change his life through reading, and perhaps honor his ancestors.

Li Chiran has known the good intentions of his parents since he was a child, and has been studying very hard since childhood, and was successfully admitted to the Shaanxi Provincial Normal School when he was a teenager. Coming to a new learning environment, Li Chiran did not focus all his energy on his studies, but went to contact some matters that interested him, that is, during this period, he was influenced by revolutionary ideas, and then changed his outlook on life, thus embarking on a path of light and yang.

Because of his outstanding performance and loyalty to the revolution, in 1929, at the age of 15, Li Chiran joined the party with honor and officially began his revolutionary career. A few months later, after graduating from the provincial normal school, Li Chiran returned to his hometown and became a teacher in a local primary school, but in fact, the primary school teacher was only a kind of identity for him to cover the party members, and he used some opportunities to publicize our party's ideas to students or patriotic masses and develop party members.

At that time, Anding County was the cradle of revolution in northern Shaanxi, not only he was the only one who carried out revolutionary struggle, but with the efforts of these revolutionary pioneers, the Anding County Party Committee was established, and 18-year-old Li Chiran became the secretary of the district party committee and became a grassroots cadre of our party.

The first political commissar of the Red 27 Army

Li Chiran, who persisted in the struggle in a cruel environment, was a revolutionary with a strong will and loyalty to the party, but there were villains around him, and Li Chiran was arrested and imprisoned for betrayal by traitors. When the news of his arrest reached his hometown, his mother was so frightened that she fell seriously ill, but fortunately there was a rescue from the party organization, and he was safely released from prison a few months later.

In view of his security concerns, he was organizationally arranged to join the Red Army guerrillas in northern Shaanxi and serve as an instructor for the first company of the first regiment. Well-educated and with rich experience in struggle, Li Chiran had no problem as an instructor, but he lacked experience in military command.

In the battle with the enemy, Li Chiran's military command ability was improved, and when the Red Fifteenth Army was established in 1935, Li Chiran was promoted to the political commissar of the 241st Regiment of the Red 81st Division, and half a year later he was the political commissar of the 81st Division.

At the end of 1936, according to the arrangements of the Central Military Commission, the Red 81st Division restored the name of the Red 27th Army, and he and He Jinnian were appointed as military political commissars and military commanders, but just over a month later, the organization arranged for him to enter the second phase of the Red Army University, and his position as military political commissar was taken over by Wang Ping.

After the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, a number of outstanding generals in our army stood out in actual combat, and many of them became senior generals of the People's Liberation Army more than ten years later, but Li Chiran, as the first political commissar of the Red 27 Army, was only the political commissar of the 12th Division of the Fourth Army in February 1949, and it was not until the beginning of 1950 that he was promoted to deputy political commissar and director of the political department of the Fourth Army.

It was difficult to award the title to Luo Shuai

He Jinnian, who led the Red 27 Army with him, was already the deputy commander of the Northeast Military Region, and Wang Ping, the second political commissar of the Red 27 Army, was also the first vice chairman of Chahar Province at this time. In 1952, Li Chiran was responsible for the preparation of the Shanghai City Defense Anti-Aircraft Artillery School in Shanghai, and later served as the school's political commissar, which was designated as a regular army.

In the 55-year military rank evaluation, Luo Ronghuan was embarrassed about how Li Chiran evaluated the rank, after all, the leaders of the Red 27 Army had two generals and one lieutenant general (He Jinnian was implicated by Gao). At that time, Luo Shuai also entrusted Li Zhen, director of the Cadre Department of the Political Department of the Air Defense Force, to consult Li Chiran on the issue of military rank evaluation.

At that time, Li Zhen told him that the organization had drawn up a lieutenant general for him, and Li Chiran did not think much about it after listening to it, and directly said: "If you are willing to be downgraded by one level, you can be rated as a major general." This also sets an example for the Troops to carry out their work in the future. After that, Li Chiran never asked about the military rank evaluation again.

According to Li Chiran's wishes, Li Chiran was awarded the rank of major general when he was awarded the title, and the same stage with him to accept the title of Zhou Gong was also general Li Zhen, who asked him at that time.

In the afternoon of the same day, Li Chiran was invited to attend a state banquet, and after the end, the chairman personally awarded General Li Chiran a first-class August 1st Medal, an honor that even many generals and lieutenant generals did not have.
