According to the analysis from CITIC Securities, optimistic about the domestic manufacturers' flexible OLED production capacity climbing and market share increase, it is expected that in 2022, China is expected to become the largest OLED production capacity country, of which flexible OLED production capacity will account for more than 40% of the world.

According to OLED Industry statistics, there are 12 6 generation production lines built and under construction in China, and the total production capacity will exceed 500,000 pieces per month after all full production.

At present, BOE has become the first domestic and the world's second largest supplier of flexible AMOLED panels, and about 40 million flexible AMOLED screens were shipped in the first three quarters of 2021, a substantial increase year-on-year.

Domestic OLED panel production capacity increase, domestic mobile phone brands benefit the most, especially in the new generation of folding screen mobile phones, due to the increase in the supply of domestic flexible AMOLED panels, the previous price of more than 10,000 folding screen mobile phones generally into the market within 10,000 yuan.

With the gradual maturity of folding screen mobile phones in terms of hardware supply, innovative interaction, application ecology, etc., all parties in the market are optimistic about the volume of folding screen mobile phones in 2022.

CITIC Securities expects that the compound annual growth rate of folding screen mobile phone shipments will exceed 90% in 5 years, and it is expected to exceed 65 million units by 2025.
