It is reported that the 6th generation of AMOLED (flexible) production line in Chongqing was built by BOE at a cost of 46.5 billion yuan.
BOE said that Chongqing is the core base of BOE's display industry and one of the strategic places for the innovative development of the Internet of Things. At present, BOE has laid out 6 key projects in Chongqing, including the 6th generation AMOLED (flexible) production line, the 8.5th generation TFT-LCD production line, and the BOE Chongqing Intelligent System Innovation Center, with a cumulative investment of more than 86 billion yuan. The 6th generation AMOLED (flexible) production line in Chongqing, which officially announced mass production, is located in Liangjiang New District, Chongqing, covering an area of about 970,000 square meters.
It is reported that the production line is designed, developed and built by BOE, and the active organic electroluminescent AMOLED technology is used for research and development and production, focusing on the small and medium-sized high-end display market.
