Sponsored by the Urology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Urology Committee of the Sichuan Medical Association, and the Chengdu Anti-Cancer Association, the "U Medical Charity Walk" Sichuan Continuing Medical Education and the 14th Nanchong Central Hospital Urology Salon Annual Meeting was recently held in Nanchong. The purpose of this activity is to "pay attention to urinary health, care for urinary patients, and walk hand in hand for love", including academic lectures, expert free clinics, surgery, prostate cancer public welfare screening and so on.
Professors Wei Qiang, Dong Qiang and Wang Jia of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Professor Qiu Xingxing of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Professor Liao Hong of Sichuan Cancer Hospital, Professor Wang Delin of the Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Professor Jiang Qing of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Professor Lan Jianhua of West China Guang'an Hospital of Sichuan University and urology experts from major hospitals in northeast Sichuan shared the most cutting-edge new business and new technologies of urology in China, and made further thinking, summarizing and prospecting for the future development of the industry.
The experts also carried out free clinic activities and public welfare surgeries in the outpatient and operating rooms of Nanchong Central Hospital. Dong Qiang, Liao Hong, and Lan Jianhua carried out public welfare surgeries such as transurethral prostatectomy for prostatic hyperplasia, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy for renal tumors, and non-functional laparoscopic nephrectomy.
The activity allowed the citizens of Nanchong to enjoy top medical technology and high-quality medical resources at their doorstep, and many patients benefited from it.
