Shanghai, 2 May (Xinhua) -- On 1 May, the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Naval Military Medical University organized a two-day online health clinic for 100 experts from the Internet Hospital on the Long March on the Clouds.

The medical team participating in this free clinic activity was composed of more than 160 experts and professors from more than 50 professional disciplines in the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Naval Military Medical University, and was led by Academician Liao Wanqing of the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Naval Military Medical University. All experts and professors online "scheduling", information, pharmacy, outpatient and other functional departments work together, advance deployment, provide disease consultation, health consultation, drug distribution and other services, but also for the control of home patients to provide diagnosis and treatment programs and home rehabilitation suggestions, alleviate their health worries and psychological anxiety.

In response to the difficulty of drug distribution during the epidemic period, the hospital organized more than 70 medical staff to form a "care action" volunteer team to carry out door-to-door drug delivery services for the elderly living alone, acutely ill patients and other groups, so as to achieve "online consultation and offline drug delivery" and open up the "last kilometer" of serving patients.
