Nanchong News Network News (Nanchong Daily All-media Reporter Yu Lingmin) With the popularization of the concept of low-carbon environmental protection, new energy vehicles have gradually become an ideal choice for citizens to travel. On December 28, the reporter learned from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission that at present, the number of new energy vehicles in the city is nearly 6,000, and the relevant departments are also expanding the coverage of charging pile supporting facilities, and nearly 2,000 charging piles have been built.

Walking in the streets and alleys of Nanchong, you can find that more and more cars with green number plates are running in Mercedes. In the square in front of nanchong railway station, several new energy vehicle charging piles are lined up, and the owners of several cars are charging their cars. Only to see them park the car on the parking space, connect the charging plug, scan the two-dimensional code on the charging pile with the mobile phone, and start charging after a simple operation. Wang Qiang, the owner of the car, told reporters that he happened to come here to pick up relatives from other places, and took advantage of the fact that the train had not yet arrived at the station to charge the car. "You only need to eat a meal and spend dozens of dollars to fill up the battery, which is very convenient." Wang Qiang said.

In the speeding traffic flow, you can also see a lot of pure electric new energy buses. "Our newly purchased 50 pure electric buses are already in operation." The relevant person in charge of Nanchong Public Transport Co., Ltd. told reporters that pure electric new energy buses not only have zero pollution and zero emissions, low operating noise, energy saving and environmental protection, but also are more comfortable to ride, at present, the total number of new energy buses in our city has reached nearly 300.

How to add more efforts to promote and popularize new energy vehicles in our city? Continuous improvement of charging facilities is particularly critical. "In recent years, Nanchong has adhered to the concept of green, low-carbon and environmentally friendly development, accelerated the construction of an electric vehicle industry service system, and made every effort to build a smart, convenient and safe charging infrastructure network." At present, nearly 2,000 charging piles have been built at Nanchong Railway Station, Mashipu Bus Interchange Station, Guangnan Expressway Nanchong North Exit Parking Area and other points. He Wenbiao, head of the energy planning development and power section of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, told reporters that in the next step, the service and application of charging piles will be further optimized according to the needs of citizens and the actual situation, so as to provide more convenient and faster charging services for new energy vehicle owners.
