McLaren CEO: Nuvey's departure is a prelude to Red Bull's collapse More dominoes are about to fall

Last week, legendary designer Neuvey, who has been with Red Bull for 19 years, announced that he would leave the club in the first quarter of next year, and according to McLaren CEO Zach Brown, this incident is a prelude to the Red Bull split, with more dominoes to fall in the coming months, and it is not ruled out that Verstappen will follow suit and choose to leave Red Bull.

Red Bull principal John Horner directly dismissed the comments, saying that other teams wanted to use Nuvey's departure to influence Red Bull Racing's morale, which is inevitable in the paddock race of Formula 1.

Verstappen agreed with Horner: "He [Zach Brown] clearly wanted to stir up trouble and as a team we don't have much to say about such comments. From his point of view, I certainly understand what he said, because everybody wants to get Red Bull employees, which is completely normal in the world of F1. But I'm not very interested in these things. I see the headlines, but I don't even click on them. ”

Verstappen added that many of Red Bull Racing's key employees have long-term contracts with the team, and his personal contract with Red Bull Racing runs until the end of 2028. However, Verstappen admits that contracts alone will not ensure that everyone stays 100 per cent, and that it will depend on whether there is a shared expectation of the team's future.

Verstappen said: "In life, you can never guarantee that everything will go the way you want it to, and it is even possible that I won't wake up tomorrow morning. We made a lot of agreements, but in the end it was about making everyone happy with their work and feeling honored in the team, and that also involved a lot of human things. At the moment, I can't find many reasons to leave Red Bull. ”
