In 234 AD, Liu Xie died at the age of 54. Buried in Chanling (present-day Beixiaofeng Village, Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province), he was given the title of Emperor Xiaoxian, and Liu Xie, the Emperor of Han Xian, never controlled the government.

In August of the fourth year of Jianxing (316), Liu Yao sent an army to attack Chang'an and cut off Chang'an's grain transport; Emperor Huan of Jin surrendered to Han Zhao on November 11 (December 11) when food was cut off. Emperor Huan of Jin was then sent to Pingyang and given the title of Marquis of Huaiping, where he endured the humiliation of being the leader of the hunting procession and a miscellaneous servant who washed cups at banquets. On December 20, 318 , Jianxing was killed by Liu Cong at the age of eighteen , and his burial place is unknown.

The Yongzheng Emperor of the Manchu Qing Dynasty, folklore is most concentrated on his notoriety of "changing the edict to seize the throne", "cannibalism", and "not being able to die well", and since he ascended to the throne, such rumors have not stopped.
