Therefore, many abducted women choose to compromise, especially after giving birth to children, it is more difficult to give up the mother-child relationship. What's more, many abducted women have long been subjected to various inhuman tortures, and their mental numbness has long formed a psychological state of "learned helplessness".
"Learned helplessness" comes from an animal experiment by an American scientist who put a dog in a cage and gave the dog an unbearable electric shock every time the beep sounded. Dogs cannot escape the cage and can only passively accept electric shock torture. But after a long time, after the scientists beeped, they first opened the cage door and then applied an electric shock.
