The krypton-mobile partnership will begin with the launch of a krypton vehicle equipped with Mobileye SuperVision in the fourth quarter of 2021, a full-stack ADAS solution powered by two EyeQ5 chips that can process data from 11 cameras.
The joint official announcement of the two parties will launch a new model for individual users with L4 level autonomous driving capabilities, which represents the deepening of cooperation between Extreme Kr and Mobileye.
Kr can further integrate Mobileye's technology, and Mobileye will also establish a local data center in China, enhance local teams and R&D capabilities, and help Kr become the first company to sell truly autonomous vehicles.
The new car will be built on the open SEA Haohan architecture, taking full advantage of the architecture's redundant design in terms of brakes, steering and power.
Equipped with 6 EyeQ5 system-on-chips from Mobileye. Under the unique Open EyeQ framework, the two companies will achieve an efficient convergence of krypton proprietary software technologies with mobileye True Redundancy sensing solutions, responsibility-sensitive security systems (RSS) and road network acquisition management (REM).
