Born in a turbulent period, Li Kenong firmly believed in participating in the revolution
In 1899, Li Kenong was born in Chaohu City, Anhui Province. He was the eldest son in the family, and from an early age he received unlimited pampering and a relatively high education. According to his father's intentions, he wanted to train him to be a student influenced by Confucianism, and then pass the imperial examination and become an official official of the state.
However, at the beginning of the 20th century, the domestic and international situation underwent major changes. Internationally, the great powers set off a frenzy to divide China, and at home, the Qing government was completely reduced to a tool for foreigners to rule China. The national crisis is unprecedentedly serious and the class contradictions are irreconcilable. As a hot-blooded young man, Li Kenong also deviated from his father's wishes and became a person with an independent personality.
In order to pursue his ideals, Li Kenong went to Beijing by himself. Due to receiving private school education from an early age, reading and writing are not a problem, and the literary literacy is relatively high. Although the Xinhai Revolution was victorious, the Republic of China was established. But the idea of feudal despotism is still deeply rooted, and many people still dream of emperors. At that time, it was the period of cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and the National Revolution was in full swing, and it was about to overthrow the warlord rule of Zhang Zuolin, Wu Peifu and Sun Chuanfang. But old Chiang suddenly defected to the revolution.
On April 12, 1927, Chiang Kai-shek extended his butcher's knife to the Communists and killed a large number of our Party members within the Party. On April 18, reactionaries also carried out a large number of killings in Wuhu. Under the protection of Li Kenong, a large number of people in our Party evaded the killing and spared their lives.
Saving Liu Bocheng in 1930 made Li Kenong famous
In 1930, the revolution in our country underwent a major transformation. After the Central Plains War, the old Chiang defeated the old warlords, and integrated the new warlords, establishing a leading position in the central government. From then on, the new task of the old Chiang Kai-shek became to encircle and suppress the Red Army.
Because during the period of the Great War in the Central Plains, Lao Jiang and others were busy with the war and relaxed their control over the surrounding rural areas, I took the Jinggangshan revolutionary base area as the center and constantly opened up more than a dozen revolutionary base areas, and the spark of the stars reached the trend of burning the plains, which seriously threatened the rule of Lao Jiang.
