Li Kenong, the only hero who has never been to the front line but is in danger every day, because he has been engaged in underground work, is affectionately known as the "King of Agents", although he has never led soldiers to fight, but he has never left the "battlefield".
Li Kenong made an important contribution to the victory of our party's revolution, and thus became one of the founding generals, which is the recognition of his merits by the state. Moreover, in addition to his own contributions to the country, his sons and daughters have all played an important role in the establishment and development of the country, including his youngest son Li Lun.
Li Kenong joined the revolutionary movement very early on, and because he was good at detecting and contacting the masses, the party organization always sent him to work underground, but as an underground party member, Li Kenong's work risk was not much less than that of the fighters who came to the front. But he did not choose to give up because of this, but kept insisting. At the same time, he also passed on this spirit to his children.
Li Lun, the youngest child in the family, was born in 1927, when his father, Li Kenong, was being hunted down by the Kuomintang and living a life of flight, so Li Lun lived with his mother. Due to the large number of brothers and sisters in the family, the mother alone to take care of the five children, many times is not enough, so the family's life is very difficult, even rely on the mother to sell the dowry to maintain.
It was not until 1938 that their father, Li Kenong, was able to reunite with them, but when the War of Resistance Against Japan broke out, although they lived together, they rarely saw their father. Li Lun was only a teenager at the time, and it was the time when he couldn't stay idle, so he often went out to run around, and even went to the place where his father worked to make trouble, so his father's colleague laughed and said that this child was not idle for a moment, just like the Japanese devils sweeping, which also made trouble, and that also interfered. As a result, "Little Japanese Child" became Li Lun's nickname, and more and more people knew.
Once, Li Lun accompanied his father to a meeting, just met his father's old friend Ho Chi Minh, Ho Chi Minh saw Li Lun, he said: "I heard that you have a very loud nickname, but now Japan is our enemy, this name is not very good." Ho Chi Minh said as he shook his head. For this nickname of his son, Li Kenong is also crying and laughing.
Later, under the leadership of his father Li Kenong, Li Lun came to Yan'an with his mother, brothers and sisters, where he met many children who were also Communist generals, so he found many good friends to play with. However, when Li Lun was 12 years old, Li Kenong saw that his son was wandering around with other children every day, so he asked him to become a waiter. After Li Lun became a waiter, he sometimes had to stand guard and put on guard when he poured tea and water, swept the floor, printed documents, and did all the hard work, and his mother was very distressed about this, but it was at this time that he was well trained and laid a good foundation for future major achievements.
After several years as a service soldier, Li Lun entered an artillery school in Yan'an with his outstanding performance, when he was only eighteen years old, and after graduating from the artillery school, he successfully entered the battlefield and made many achievements in the Liberation War. Especially in the Battle of Zhoushan, he led his men to fight the Kuomintang, causing heavy casualties to the Kuomintang, and he was also awarded the first class merit.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was awarded the rank of major, and later held important positions in the country many times, making important contributions to the recovery of the mainland economy and the development of the country. But what he can never forget is his hometown, the place where he was born. Before, I heard my father say that my grandfather's family was very poor, and he even borrowed money to live. Later, after his father became a general, the landlord of his hometown came to him for a debt, and his father sold the house in his hometown in order to pay off the debt.
A few years later, Li Lun returned to his hometown with his father again, and at this time, the old house had become someone else's, and his father was very sad. The fellow villager told Li Lun that the landlord no longer existed, so his family's old mansion could also be taken back, but Li Lun said that this was originally what we owed to others, and there was no reason to take it back again.
The early 1960s were Lee's saddest time, as his parents died in 1961 and 1962. Faced with the death of his parents, Li Lun was very sad. Later, Li Lun went to his hometown in Anhui many times, because according to his parents' wishes, their ashes were buried in his hometown, so every year Li Lun would go to his hometown to worship his parents, nag with his mother, and talk to his father about the development of the country.
In 1988, at the age of 61, Li Lun was awarded the rank of lieutenant general by the state, and was promoted to deputy director of the General Logistics Department the following year, and remained in this position for four years until retirement. However, in 2009, Li Lun, who was 92 years old, died of illness. Forever left behind the country, land and people he loved.
In addition to Li Lunyi, Li Kenong's other children are also excellent, such as the eldest son Li Li, who served as the deputy director of the General Staff Communications Department. Daughter Li Bing, she serves as the party secretary of the Institute of Oncology of the Medical Academy. Therefore, Li Kenong's family is making contributions to the country and the people, which deserves our admiration.
