Britain's famous Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher became the first female prime minister in British history from a conservative standpoint. Her 11-and-a-half-year reign made her Britain's longest-serving prime minister after World War II. Behind the perfect political career, however, is the devastation of the family.
Before Thatcher's death, she spent Christmas and New Year's Day 2012 at her niece's house. The twin daughters are not around, the son Mike is romantic with his girlfriend on the beach in Barbados, and the daughter is on vacation in Switzerland.
