For example, Geely acquired Volvo Cars, Great Wall hired foreign designers, MG and Lynk & Co to form factory teams to participate in racing competitions, and so on.

Why talk about it today? Because some time ago, I represented the company to participate in the regional test drive of the model organized by the manufacturer. Along the way, this car gave me a lot of feelings, so I felt the need to introduce this car to you in detail.

The car is nearly 5 meters long, reaching 4970mm, and the width of the car is 1940mm, which is the size of a medium-sized SUV with a proper size. You should know that the BMW X5, which is also positioned as a medium-sized SUV, is only 4930mm in length.
However, there is a saying that the width of the X5 is still a little larger than the Xingtu Lanyue 400T, reaching 2004mm.
Since it is a test drive, let's focus on the test drive experience.
The first is the matching of the engine and the gearbox, which is generally well matched, and normal driving basically does not feel the impact of the gear shift. However, when starting out, there is a slight feeling of jitter caused by friction when the clutch is combined, but it is very slight.
The shift speed itself is not slow, and the gear shift response is not fast when accelerating sharply, but within the normal range, it is completely acceptable. Definitely not the kind of action that takes a long time to step down and wait for a long time to perform a downshift.
In the case of fast opening, if manual mode is used, that is, the paddle shift method is used to drive, then the gearbox will not be smart enough.
Especially when the throttle is contained in the low and middle gear of the corner, waiting for the full oil acceleration of the corner, the computer will misjudge that the driver is driving at a uniform speed without a large power request, and automatically give you a gear, resulting in insufficient traction when cornering. It cannot be consistent with the driver's driving intentions, that is, it is somewhat disjointed.
In other aspects, NVH (sound insulation) is generally good, wind noise and engine noise isolation is better, tire noise is generally good, but the tires seem to have some picks, but the overall flaws are not hidden, and there is a sense of luxury in sound insulation.
In terms of chassis, the suspension filter setting is neutral and soft, which is in line with its positioning. The front and rear filter effect is consistent, the suppression of aftershocks is not bad, the chassis is tight and not loose, there is no stiff impact between metal and metal, it should be that the rubber bushing has helped a lot.
For the lateral swing control is also not bad, there is no left and right excess shaking situation, sitting in the car is not easy to get motion sickness.
Finally, the evaluation such as the steering feel, due to the early test drive time, is not very clear, so it cannot be fully and clearly expressed here.
However, based on only the remaining memory, the impression of the car's steering sense is too strong, in the high-speed driving, if you want to turn the steering wheel for subtle adjustments, there seems to be some awkwardness, that is, the initial section of the steering is not very natural.
The above is the test drive part, and then let's talk about the ride part. The space for the middle row ride is definitely generous. At the same time, the performance of the seat is also very good, the length of the cushion, the angle of the backrest, the softness of the seat, the sense of wrapping, etc., with my height and weight of 170cm, 64kg, not only can I sit down but also very comfortable.
The rear configuration mainly includes a charging interface, a rear air conditioner outlet that can be controlled separately, a co-pilot boss key, and a SONY audio. In addition, the sound insulation at high speed is very good, and the sound insulation effect of the front and middle rows is basically the same.

If you talk about product power alone, the Xingtu Lanyue 400T with its power level, space size and configuration function, no matter which one has reached a good level, or even some excellent level.
But at the same time, it should be noted that this car is not as perfect as imagined, and there is still room for improvement in the calibration of the powertrain.
In addition, the whole series only provides a set of powertrains, and there are indeed some embarrassments in the camp of medium and large SUVs.
But no matter what, whether it is Xingtu or Chery, independent brands dare to take this step, in a sense, they have already won. Compare with the past self, win; compare with the entire domestic brand in the past, and win again.
Finally, from the perspective of automobile sales in recent years, some domestic models are indeed better than joint venture vehicles in some areas, such as the Haval H6 of the Great Wall, the CS75 PLUS of Changan, and geely's Boyue. Explain that as long as the car is built well, and then find the market positioning, the car is not worried about selling.
However, it is not difficult for us to find out from the sales volume that the domestic high-end models have not been able to fully compete with the joint venture models so far. Because people who consume high-end models tend to pay more attention to brand value.
