IT House learns that the HP Z2 Mini G9 can be easily placed on a desk or mounted behind a monitor, so you can enjoy superior performance without losing valuable office space.

The HP Z2 Mini G9 is expected to be available in March this year. Prices will be announced as they approach the launch of the product.

Considering the hardware it contains, the Z2 Mini G9 is small, less than 3 liters in size, and measures only 8.3 x 2.7 x 8.6 inches (WHD). It contains one of Intel's latest Core vPro K-series processors inside, which means having a lockless chip with a higher frequency and wanting an overclocking option. Add in DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, and a low-profile Nvidia RTX graphics solution, and you have the potential to get a lot of performance.

Few specific details about the Z2 Mini G9 have been disclosed, but HP is unlikely to claim to have developed the most powerful mini workstation without data support.

Hp released the Z2 Mini G5 Workstation in 2020 to see what to expect. The G5 uses an 8-core, 16-thread Intel Core i7 with up to 32GB of RAM and two M.2 SSD drives. The GPU is the 4GB Nvidia Quadro T2000, which matches the performance of larger workstations, so hopefully we'll get the same thing from the G9.
