Norwegians use sales to say that the Tesla Model 3 is the most worth buying car.

Last year, 64.5% of all cars on Norwegian roads were electric. In this huge fleet, Tesla Motors became its best-selling brand, accounting for 11.6% of the market, plug-in hybrids accounted for 27.2%, while gasoline and diesel cars accounted for 4.2% and 4%, respectively.

The Tesla Model 3 topped the list with 12,058 units, making it the best-selling car in Norway for the full year of 2021, with a 6.8% market share. The Toyota RAV4 trailed by 3,130 vehicles, in second place with 8,928 registered vehicles. In third place was the Volkswagen ID.4, with sales of 8,645 units. The fourth place, also the ModelY, a Tesla model, didn't go on sale until the end of August. Even so, the Tesla Model Y is only slightly behind second and third, with 8,267 registered units, and the Tesla ModelY is likely to be the most competitive model for the Model3 after 2022. In fifth place is the Volvo XC40, with 6,415 registrations.
