IT House reported on March 23 that Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that two new paint colors will be available through its paint shop at the Berlin Gigafactory.
Back in the early days of the Model S, Tesla used to offer a variety of colors for cars, but since then the options have been simplified, and now there are only a few colors to choose from.
Musk said the Berlin Gigafactory will have the world's most advanced paint shop, with more layers of stunning colors that will subtly change with curvature, and revealed two new colors that are expected to appear on the Model Y in the coming months.
A very special red color, probably seen by many people, with 13 layers of paint.
A liquid silver color scheme with 8 layers of paint.
IT House learned that both colors have been exposed before, and the crimson version is suspected to be Musk's personally customized Model S.
Another color could be matte silver, a matte silver Model Y with a factory license plate found in Cupertino, California.
