The Trisolarans did not understand, and the Earthlings should celebrate the completion of the blue planet's orbit for a week

The child sang: "Happy New Year, Happy New Year, wish everyone a happy New Year." We sang, we danced, and wished everyone a Happy New Year. "2021 has passed, and humanity has stepped into 2022.

But perhaps, if there were higher civilizations watching us, they would be a little confused, and the scene seen these days is "the edge of the third spiral arm / on a blue planet / Carbon-based creatures are celebrating / Their planet / In that star system again / Completed an orbit".

What's there to celebrate? Moreover, not only are earthlings ridiculous, but life is fragile. The New Year came and we sent away a poet. On January 3, Zheng Min, the last poet of the "Nine Leaves School", died at the age of 102.

But there are some things that they don't understand.

The "singer" in "The Three-Body Problem" sang a poem: "I see my love / I fly to her side / I hold out the gift for her / It's a small piece of frozen time ..." Compared to the earth civilization, the strength of the singer civilization is beyond doubt, and a two-way foil the size of a card is enough to destroy everything. The singer's civilization pursues survival, fun is irrelevant, largely forgotten, and he cannot appreciate the emotions in the poem.

In Liu Cixin's early work "Poetry Cloud", the "god" level advanced civilization tried to write all the poems in the world — does it sound very similar to the current AI writing poetry? Hope to achieve one goal: to surpass Li Bai. But he failed, and poetry became the only basis for the "lower" civilization of the earthlings to stand on their own in the universe.

Liu Cixin himself said that in the early 1990s, in order to pass the time, "often made up boring but self-consciously interesting software, and the electronic poets who are now popular on the Internet are the products of that time." Obviously, like the "god" level civilization, Liu Cixin also failed.

There is an interesting dialogue in "Poetry Cloud", "Dear God, these dirty bugs are left with those few little poems!" "But they are insurmountable!" "Technology transcends everything." "This has nothing to do with technology, this is the essence of the human spiritual world, which cannot be surpassed!"

Zheng Min, who graduated from the Department of Philosophy of Southwest United University, pursues a high degree of unity between sensibility and rationality, "poetry" and "thought". She wrote a small poem in which several of them went like this, "... History is nothing but / a small river flowing under the feet / and you, standing there / will become a human thought."

If you were a child doing language reading comprehension, there would be a standard answer to how "you" would be interpreted, but here, I prefer to understand it as something specific. For example, cross-Chinese New Year's Eve lovers kissing; for example, the first rays of sunshine on New Year's Day; for example... Hey, I even think that a young man who has a feeling at this moment and reads a poem is a small footnote to the human mind.

However, in the Internet age, is reading poetry somewhat outdated? To paraphrase a network buzzword, "the pattern should be opened", in fact, the ancient Chinese have been highly summarized - poetry, song, song, sound, harmony. Therefore, there are many ways to open poetry, but poetry is often associated with dreams.

After saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new, I used my mobile phone to brush a few videos, "200 Seconds Looking Back at 2021: Believe in the Power of Seeing and Changing" and "Facing the Rising Sun!" On the first day of 2022, enjoy the first rays of sunshine from all over the motherland", "Sail away to the Greater Bay Area - 2022 New Year Concert", "First Greetings for the New Year, Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao University Students Dialogue on the Chinese Space Station"... We use images to recall, we use images to look ahead, we use images to connect space and time, we use images to declare that young people should be self-reliant — this is poetry.

Xu Yunuo, a famous poet of the May Fourth period, wrote a small poem: "The sun has fallen / Mountains, trees, stones, rivers, all great buildings are buried in the shadows / Human beings are very interesting to light their little lamps / Joy in what they see / Hope to find what they want." "It is not easy to find, but in the new year, the young people who have embarked on the road of pursuit will continue to set out."

The opening paragraph of "the edge of the third spiral arm" is said to be created by a group of astronomical enthusiasts who crossed the Chinese New Year's Eve and wrote sentences on the Internet. So, although, we also know, the entire solar system revolves around the Milky Way, the missed position will never come back, even the Milky Way is speeding, and even space itself is expanding, exhausting time and unable to turn back. But "and their singing crosses time and space / And the whispers of all things transcend time / They have had shining days / Their dreams and desires will turn into light."

This is the meaning of celebrating the New Year.
