According to reports on 4 January, the DPP authorities and some leading figures have made a big fuss about the recent law enforcement actions of the Hong Kong SAR government police against "position news," attacking and smearing "one country, two systems." Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said in response to an inquiry on the 4th that we firmly support the Hong Kong SAR Government in handling relevant cases according to law. No one has the right to interfere.

Zhu Fenglian said: The DPP authorities have continued to meddle in Hong Kong affairs for the purpose of seeking "independence." At present, the situation in Hong Kong has changed from chaos to governance and is on the right track, and "one country, two systems" is showing strong vitality and bright prospects, and the DPP authorities cannot wait to jump out and shout a few times, for fear that the people in Taiwan will see through the truth of the DPP authorities' chaotic plot for "independence" in Hong Kong. They smear "one country, two systems," peddle false "democracy," pretend to be "guardians of democracy," reverse black and white, ignore the judiciary, defend illegal acts, and clamor for some "Hong Kong aid plan." More and more people on the island see through that they are merely seeking political self-interest.
