As the year draws to a close, 24 new cases of COVID-19 infections were added to Henan, a major province that returned to their hometowns, distributed in Zhengzhou (2 cases), Luoyang (2 cases) and Xuchang (20 cases). In Huaiyang District, Zhoukou City, 2 cases of initial screening positive were found.

Today (4th), Taikang County of Zhoukou City found 2 more cases of infection in the nucleic acid test.

The epidemic in Henan has involved 4 cities

The source of this round of epidemic in Henan is not clear.

On the eve of New Year's Day, on December 31, four asymptomatic infected people were found in Luoyang City, living in Xigou Village, Zhengcun Town, Xin'an County.

Case 2 returned home by bus from Chengdu on 18 December, transited to Luoyang Bus Station and Xin'an County, and arrived home at noon on 19 December. The three infected people, including case 1, are all family members and have been active in the village in the past 14 days and have no history of traveling.

On 1 January, through nucleic acid screening, a total of 4 people from the neighbors and related close contacts of case 1 were diagnosed as asymptomatic infected people. A day later, the brother and daughter of case 2 were diagnosed as infected people one after another. Among them, the brother and case 2 were working together in Chengdu and returned home together on the 18th.

It is worth noting that according to the information of the circulation, he stopped at the Sanmenxia Lingbao Service Area at 1 o'clock on December 19 on the way back to his hometown. Half a month ago, on December 21, Zhoukou City had found 4 cases of spillover in Xi'an, two couples, who returned to Shenqiu from Xi'an by car on December 18 and also stayed in the Lingbao Service Area of Sanmenxia.

On January 2, Yuzhou City (county-level city, Xuchang City Escrow) also found 2 asymptomatic infected people in the nucleic acid test, according to the circulation survey, 2 people are employees of the same company, daily cycling to and from work, no history of going out for 14 days.

On the 3rd, Xuchang reported 20 new cases of infection, 2 cases in zhengzhou, the provincial capital, and 2 cases of positive nucleic acid in Huaiyang District of Zhoukou City, which were returnees from Yuzhou City. On the 4th, Taikang County, Zhoukou City, also found 2 cases of infection, a truck driver, who recently drove from Yuzhou City to Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.

As early as the beginning of the epidemic, on December 31, Henan Province immediately divided Xin'an County into a sealing area, a control area, and a prevention area. Among them, Zhengcun Town and Xigou Village are sealed and controlled areas, "closed management, staying at home, service door-to-door", the 1st, 4th, 7th, 10th, 14th days of nucleic acid testing.

As the scope of the epidemic expanded in Henan Province, various localities successively promulgated prevention and control measures.

From 22:50 on January 2, all personnel in Yuzhou can only enter and leave, and the city's buses, taxis, online ride-hailing cars, passenger lines and various cultural and entertainment venues are tentatively operated. All kinds of primary and secondary schools and training institutions suspend offline teaching. According to today's Zhengzhou Railway news, Henan Province's foreign inbound (returning) Zheng personnel, when leaving the station, provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours.

Many cities in Henan Province that have not reported covid-19 are also facing great enemies.

Nanyang requires that, except for epidemic-related areas, those entering and returning from the province must provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 24 hours; personnel outside the province must provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours.

Sanmenxia City, from January 3, people who come (return) must hold a 48-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate and a green code of health code, and then test again after entering the gorge, and if negative, then monitor home health for 7 days.

At the same time, Kaifeng, Shangqiu, Xinxiang and other places demanded that returnees from New Year's Day and Spring Festival report in advance, calling for unnecessary non-departure from the city and the province.

The spread of the epidemic in Xi'an communities has been controlled

Yesterday (3rd), Xi'an reported 95 new confirmed cases. Among them, 78 cases were found in isolation and control, 9 cases were found in the sealing and control area, 5 cases were found in the control area, 1 case was found in community screening, and 2 cases were found in key groups.

Although the data is still at a high level, at a press conference on epidemic prevention and control in Shaanxi Province held this afternoon, it was said that the spread of the epidemic in Xi'an communities has been controlled. At present, the focus of epidemic prevention and control in Xi'an is on urban villages and colleges and secondary schools.

As of 12:00 on January 4:

A total of 195 cases of teachers and students in universities and colleges in Shaanxi Province have been confirmed, involving many schools, but the current momentum has been controlled;

A total of 274 cases were confirmed in Xi'an urban village households, involving 39 villages, and there were multiple cluster outbreak points, of which 100 cases were confirmed in Panjiazhuang Village.

Ma Guanghui, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Health Commission, introduced that for urban villages with new infections in the past 5 days, household-to-house investigations were carried out to ensure that nucleic acid testing and close connection control "do not miss a household, do not miss a person". Strict closed management measures shall be adopted for colleges and universities.

Ma Guanghui said that the population density of colleges and universities and urban villages is large, and many do not have living conditions such as independent dining, toileting, and living alone for individuals or families, do not have the conditions for home isolation, and the trajectory of daily life is seriously crossed.

Today, Xi'an has launched a new round of large-scale nucleic acid testing. The press conference said that after the results of this round of testing come out, there will be a clearer understanding of the epidemic prevention and control situation in Xi'an.

A Xi'an citizen who was classified as a "sealed control zone" told the "medical community" that since December 19, he has done 11 nucleic acid tests. "The first 2 times were when everyone 'got together' to go out to do it, and after the community was closed on the 23rd, the medical staff entered the community for testing."

According to the citizen, due to the relative improvement of the epidemic situation, in the past two days, some communities that have not been diagnosed and closely contacted since the outbreak of the epidemic can go out once every 3 days to purchase materials.

"But the community I am in is still in a state of containment due to the confirmed diagnosis." Nearly 1,000 households are delivered by a nearby grocery store. There are dishes, but there are only two people in the store, and the purchase and delivery are too busy. ”

"Our community can't eat, but it's a shortage, and neighbors will contact each other to help, and they will also 'barter'." He said, "There are also some people who will spontaneously contact the delivery stores that are farther away, but sometimes once the policy is received and ordered, the other party cannot send it." ”

The press conference on the 4th said that after several rounds of large-scale nucleic acid testing and 12 days of strict social control in Xi'an, the proportion of cases from centralized isolation personnel has gradually increased in recent days, and the proportion of cases detected at the social level has gradually decreased.

Ningbo epidemic does not rule out "material transmission to people"

The traceability of the epidemic in Ningbo and Shanghai is also underway.

In December last year, the epidemic in Zhejiang Province came to an end. During the New Year's Day holiday in 2022, there were infected people in Ningbo City again, 1 day, 7 cases, 2 days, 9 cases, 3 days, 8 cases.

According to the press conference on epidemic prevention and control held in Ningbo in the past two days, the epidemic:

The gene of the first case specimen belongs to the AY.57 evolutionary branch of the Delta strain, which can rule out the association with the recent outbreak in Hangzhou, Yongshao, and is an independent epidemic;

Except for the first case, which was found to be hospitalized for other diseases, the remaining cases were found in active screening in the sealed area;

The epidemic situation is highly concentrated in Shenzhou Company, Beilun District, Ningbo, and no positive infected people have been found in other areas of the province;

The source of the virus is currently unknown. According to expert analysis and judgment, the possibility of "material transmission to people" is not excluded.

Shanghai, on January 3, there were 2 new cases of local asymptomatic infection, which were from other places in Shanghai. As of 8:00 a.m. on January 4, 2022, a total of 1,040 people have been screened and controlled, and the nucleic acid test results are negative;

164 environmental samples were collected, except for 17 samples (which were samples from two asymptomatic infected people driving vehicles) with positive nucleic acid tests, the rest of the nucleic acid test results were negative, and the relevant environments have been finally disinfected.

According to the Shanghai release, according to relevant national regulations, the areas involved in asymptomatic infection are not designated as high-risk areas of the epidemic.
