In history, the passage about the Yongzheng Emperor has grabbed a large number of them. One of the most famous of these was the change of the Holy Will, and in folklore, the kangxi throne was passed to the fourteenth son of the emperor, Yin Yu. So, in real history, to whom did the Kangxi Emperor pass the throne?
At that time, when announcing the Holy Will, some ministers stood up and questioned Yongzheng for changing the Holy Will, saying that the Holy Will was originally written as Fourteen Brothers, and he changed the "Ten" to "Yu". However, the Holy Will of the Qing Dynasty was two copies, one with Hanzi and one with Manchu, and Manchu is not easy to change, and this statement is obviously not valid.
In the sixty-first year of Kangxi, Yin Chan, the Prince of Yong, invited Kangxi to appreciate the peony, it was at this time that Kangxi saw the Hongli for the first time, and felt that the little guy had a clear eyebrow, talented, and very promising, presumably decades later, he could also be the heir to the throne, and Kangxi felt that the throne would prosper in the Qing Dynasty.
Later, after Kangxi returned, he took his grandson Hongli with him and personally tutored him to learn archery, firearms, and poetry. Hongli is naturally smart, does these homework well, and is a well-deserved bully.
When Kangxi was young, he looked for someone to see his birthday. The fortune teller explained it this way, saying that Hongli was born rich and noble, he was very filial when he grew up, and his eyebrows were picturesque, and his literature and martial arts were definitely prominent, and his life expectancy was relatively long. It is true that this hongli has been an emperor for more than sixty years before he died in his eighties.
Before his death, Kangxi said to the imperial court scholar Maqi that Yongzheng's son Hongli must have done great things, and in order to make Hongli become emperor, Kangxi passed the throne to Yongzheng, and let Yongzheng establish Hongli as the crown prince, which would let the other princes who seized the throne know that they would really vomit blood.
Why yong is the legitimate successor, there are several points
In the last year of Kangxi, the fourteenth son of the legendary legitimate successor, the emperor, that is, Yongzheng's half-brother, was personally sent abroad by Kangxi, and he was also made a general and went to war. If Kangxi had intended to pass it on to him, how could he have sent his preferred heir to abroad while he was dying of old age and illness?
Second, when Kangxi was seriously ill, he sent Yongzheng, who was the crown prince, to go to the Temple of Heaven to worship the heavens on his behalf, and in the feudal period, the sacrifice of the heavens was a major event in the event, and the only person who went to the heavens when the emperor could not go in person could only be his heir.
Third, the falsification of the will about folklore is said to be untenable, the fourteen sons of the succession and the change to the transmission of the fourth son, this Yu character, written in ancient times, so it is not so easy to change, the testament for Chinese and Manchu two languages in duplicate, even if the Chinese language is easy to change, Manchu is a ghost drawing symbol, it is impossible to change.
Let's say that, we don't know whether Yongzheng was the best among the emperors of the Qing Dynasty, but the Yongzheng Emperor did a lot of things that benefited the country during the Kangxi period, and after he ascended the throne, he severely punished corrupt officials and officials, so that the national treasury was enriched again. Many scholars say that if the Qing Dynasty had not been Yongzheng, the Qing Dynasty would have perished a long time ago.
