A unique product in the world

After the emperor's personal approval of the emperor of the two dynasties

This year is the Year of the Dragon, and in one of the theme exhibition halls of the Xuzhou Sacred Decree Museum, "Fengtian Carrier", there is a sacred decree that is closely related to the dragon. The decree is exquisitely stated, surrounded by lifelike dragons with strokes, and visitors stop here. "This 'Hereditary Decree of Longbian Replacement' is indeed the treasure of our town hall. Hu Qianyu, director of the museum's collection department, told reporters.

The "Hereditary Decree of Longbian Divine Decree" is a unique product in the world that has caused a sensation throughout the country, and it spans the two generations of monarchs of Daoguang and Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. This holy decree is the "hereditary replacement" of the two emperors who knighted one of the eight "iron hat kings" of the Qing Dynasty, and the descendants of Kuiding and Yugang. In the thirteenth year of Daoguang (1833), this holy decree was first awarded to Yugang's father, the general Kuiding. In the sixth year of Xianfeng (1856), Kuiding died of illness, and Xianfeng took back the holy decree. Among them, the seam is Xianfeng Yubi Zhu Pi: "General Feng'en Kui Ding's illness, the missing of the left, will Yi's eldest son Yugang inherit General Feng'en." It means "the son inherits the father's business".

This holy decree is very ornamental, its opening lifting dragon and the surrounding cloud dragon are painted by the palace Danqing masters, all with mineral pigments, the color is extremely exquisite, for the holy decree dragon pattern used in the highest level, the auspicious dragon pattern form is realistic. Kuiding's father and son are relatives of the emperor, so this dragon pattern also shows the importance that the two emperors attach to the father and son.

Crafted using the precious technique of weaving gold, this Decree bag exudes royal luxury. This decree is also an excellent work of calligraphy, with a beautiful handwriting in Manchu and Chinese. Dong Ji, the docent of the Xuzhou Holy Decree Museum, introduced the preciousness of this holy decree to the tourists who stopped in detail.

The "Hereditary Decree of Longbian" was signed on December 16 of the 13th year of Daoguang and February 28 of the 6th year of Xianfeng, and the jade seals of two generations of emperors can be glimpsed of its magnificent history after two generations of emperors.

After several twists and turns

Exploring the "Dragon Hunt" Behind the Treasure

According to Zhou Qingming, chairman of the Xuzhou Holy Decree Museum, the "Hereditary Replacement of Longbian Holy Decree" was his early collection, and the collection process was relatively difficult, and after several twists and turns, it can be said to be a "dragon hunt". In the eighties and nineties of the last century, the collector of this holy decree was an old gentleman who had opened a pawnshop in Beijing, and he had a certain economic strength, and he received this holy decree by chance. Later, due to the decline of the family, he returned to Xi'an to live, and he was in urgent need of money, so he entrusted an intermediary to find someone destined to change hands. Zhou Qingming rushed over after receiving the news, and after research, he found that this was a rare holy decree of hereditary replacement, hand-painted dragon edge.

Previously, Zhou Qingming had never collected such a high-level holy decree, so he discussed with the old gentleman to collect it, and also chatted with the old gentleman a lot, and he was very close to each other. But when the matter was about to be finalized, the rest of the old gentleman's family disagreed, believing that the holy decree was left by the ancestors and could not be sold.

After many times of intermediation and many sincere visits from Zhou Qingming, he finally succeeded in collecting this precious holy decree. Zhou Qingming said: "At that time, I felt very fortunate when I saw this holy decree, and I am also a devout lover of the holy decree collection, and I feel that this collection is very valuable. Such a "dragon hunt" laid the foundation for Zhou Qingming to later establish a museum, and this holy decree was also designated as the treasure of the Xuzhou Holy Decree Museum.

At present, there are more than 2,000 pieces (sets) of various collections on display in the Xuzhou Shengzhi Museum, forming a history of the development of the Shengzhi with detailed information and clear context. The contents recorded in the collection of the Holy Decree have extremely precious historical value, fill in many lost historical details, show the gorgeous and colorful traditional culture of the Chinese nation from different aspects, and also reflect the magnificent and turbulent changes of the times.
