On December 31, 2021, the G9 gateway chip of Chip Chi Technology obtained the "Commercial Cryptography Product Certification Certificate" certified by the Commercial Cryptography Testing Center of the State Cryptography Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "State Secret Bureau"), which covers the comprehensive evaluation of multi-dimensional projects such as security level, cryptographic algorithm, security chip interface, key management, sensitive information protection and so on of the security chip, and The company successfully passed all project certifications and became the first batch of domestic automotive chip enterprises to obtain the state secret certification.

According to the reporter's understanding, the core chi technology has made remarkable achievements in the functional safety of vehicle specification chips, and has passed the AEC-Q100 reliability certification, ISO26262ASILD functional safety process certification, and ISO26262ASILB functional safety product certification in just three years. The blessing of this state secret certification has also made XinChi Technology the first vehicle specification chip enterprise in China.

In fact, the development premise of intelligent vehicles in the entire automotive industry chain has always been unable to avoid the important premise of safety. With the gradual maturity of the Internet of Vehicles ecology, the synergy between people and vehicles will greatly increase the close communication between cars and cars, cars and people, and cars and roads. In addition, under the trend of "software-defined cars", future OTA upgrades will be more frequent, and the information interaction in any link will be hacked, which may cause serious security accidents.

To this end, the G9 central gateway chip of Chip Chi Technology adopts a multi-core heterogeneous structure and a built-in high-performance HSM acceleration module, which is designed in full accordance with the national secret standard from the beginning of the design. Compared with the traditional external independent encryption chip, the performance of the HSM encryption module of XCHI Technology is more than 200 times.

It is worth mentioning that supporting the national secret algorithm is not equivalent to passing the national secret authentication. According to the NMSA's evaluation criteria for chip information security, the state secret algorithm is only one dimension of judgment, and the architecture design and information security process system based on the entire chip information security are more important for the final information security certification.

"Only after passing the all-round assessment of the State Secret Service can we finally obtain the national secret certification." Some senior experts in the automotive industry told reporters that this is somewhat similar to the safety crash test of the automotive industry, and only by finally passing the all-round test of third-party authoritative institutions such as IIHS and NCAP can we finally make an objective and pertinent conclusion on automotive safety.

Xinchi Technology said that in the new four-span large-scale test in 2020, the message verification and signature of the company's G9 gateway reached 3800 times /s, which means that the information of more than 300 cars can be exchanged at the same time per second, and the performance performance ranks first in the chip test group of that year.

The successful acquisition of the first batch of national secret certification also confirms the unremitting efforts of XinChi Technology in safety investment. From functional safety certification to information security certification, from product release to 1 year to cooperate with 70% of domestic OEMs and Tier1.
